replacement grommets came today

and I'm not doing too well with them. I've punched a carto and used them on the polycarb shell I got from parksvaping. so far I've assembled it and filled it twice and both times the juices all leaks out the bottom. I've got an air leak somewhere. It looks sealed everywhere and these look just like the originals. I don't think the shell is the problem. gonna keep working with it.

Looks like third times the charm. I kept the original thicker grommet and used it on the bottom.. I used one of the grommets I bought on the top.

I originally got two complete chibis with punched cartos.. the first one worked well for a couple days and then I couldn't get it to stop leaking. So I set it aside and started using the second tank. This tank I just filled is the shell and bottom grommet of the original and my own (punched by ME and my husband) carto. I feel so proud I finally punched a carto!

The problem may be your carto punch. If you have pierced the center tube it will leak. Look down the carto tube. If you can see any indents or deformation you punched in too far.

It can also be the grommet. There will be one side that has a protruding nipple or bellybutton looking defect. Make sure that end is always outside the tank.

I agree with Tersur, the problem may be a carto punched too deep. I am on day 3 with my homemade tanks and neither of them have leaked a drop. You may also notice that the center button on the threaded end of the carto has moved if you punched too deep

After the third time I did get it to work It wasn't the carto, I guess I just had an air leak somewhere.
