I'm thinking just cut two rectangles out of the silicone case to open up where 4 vents are on both sides , possibly cut out where I've out this sticker , but would have to do it in ink maybe line both sides up then use a scalpel to cut out the vents View attachment 580727

Can't have everything I suppose. Wismec a.k.a. Joyetech is not known for using quality 510 connections. Alas that is why this thread exists. How's the quality of the 510 on the Triade?

It looks better seems better , but not wanting to open it up yet to see , but I'm hoping since it's mid mounted in a better position , and has triple thread on the top ,maybe you could get right into the 510 and be able to swap it without removing the whole board ect , but will not know until someone opens it up , I won't on a new device with no problems ,pins seems to sit higher too but not got anything wood or plastic available to push in pin to see , don't want to short it out with a metal screw driver so will leave it alone , for now , but could possibly easier access to the 510 with how it's mounted , if you look at a top pic of it has 3 hex screws on top of the raised 510 mount , adding a raised fat daddy with inter changeable tops would look good on it an possibly of a squonk in future , but unless any thing goes wrong will leave it as is for now , but definitely not giving up on the Rx conversion , just funds at moment that stopping me since just got the triade , going to need some more spare battery wrappings as that's the only neg with triade ,can tear battery slaves but also heard some have had this with wismec DNA ,

Iknow , but happy with her at moment , was a good buy I thinks , if I could solder better than would never of got it but will tide me over whilst I save for a DNA board for Rx mod replacement , plenty of others online have done the conversion of both 510 an DNA board for the Rx versions conversion

It depends on which country your in to where to shop. The fat daddy ,v4 low profile is The one used since its slightly shorter , the battery bay gets in the way of the 510 so cutting would be needed of the battery plastic bay to allow the 510 to sit well ,you could add a silicon ring / washer seal under the 510 to slightly raise it a little , , in uk i purchased for www.modmaker.co.uk , but out of uk ??
