IMO, personal vaporizers used to deliver drugs other than nicotine should be a non-issue. Even if e-cigs are banned, it is not really possible to ban atomizers or vaporizers--and that is all that e-cigs have in common with these products intended for medical or recreational drugs. What they can ban is the way they are marketed or used. In California, it is legal to sell vaporizers with e-liquid containing chemicals other than nicotine, but its also legal to sell pipes, lighters herbal vaporizers, foods and the herb itself in various forms and "delivery methods". Although those same things are called drugs and paraphernalia in other states, in California dispensaries they are perfectly legal...but that has no bearing on what is considered tobacco products and accessories.

Can e-cigarettes be used as a pipe for taking other drugs or medications suspended in e-liquid? Of course they can. Almost anything can be used to administer licit or illicit drugs, suggesting that has any bearing on the intended use of legal consumer or pharmaceutical products is a red herring.

A lot of people who don't understand how electronic cigarettes work don't realize that "hardware" is functionally equivalent to a pipe and lighter--you're just using a small electric heater to avoid the hazards of fire and the products of combustion. "They" can't ban e-cigarettes any more than they can ban pipes and lighters, so Banzhaf and his pharma-funded fear-mongering blather is a wasted effort.

Green Lane, Pa
and the almighty dollar bill...

Darn, forgot that one, halfheimers i suppose. Let's not forget the five, ten, twenty, and hundred and I've been told other's have been issued. Which brings me to the most innocent, but just as potential delivery device of all......................... Paper products.

Although toilet paper and paper towels are probably okay.....I think.
