I have been using a generic pyrex glass tank for about a month. For the last week I have been unable to prevent the carto from flooding. I've used 1,2, and three hole prepunched cartos. When I first started using the tank I was using the 3 hole and had no issues. I have kept my draw on the light side since this issue began. I don't have a filling tool. My suspicion is that the inner o rings are slightly damaged and are letting a small amount of air into the tank. I don't have a ton of experience with the carto tanks, so I'm kind of grasping at straws here. The tank is cobalt so its difficult to see what's going on in regards to bubbles. In retrospect clear would have been a better choice.

First, I would ask are you using dual coil or single coil cartos? I had a lot of issues with dual coil cartos flooding - when I switched to single coil those problems stopped. Also - how are you filling your tank? Do you take the top off or do you just push the carto down & tilt it over and fill? I think if you take the top off you are forcing air in when you put it back on which can also lead to flooding. You don't need a carto tool to fill them. Hope this helps and good luck! :)

I fill my carto just till it's moist, then fill the tank and let it sit for a few minutes. As for the carto I use single coil low resistance carts and only punch more than 1 hole if I use thicker juices. When pushing the carto back through the top after filling the tank I put a drip tip on mine or a slap yo momma typy tank tool keeps pressure in the carto so you aren't forcing juice into it. But the main key with flooding is not over filling the carto before you put it in the tank. Only make as many holes as you need depending on the thickness of the juice, because you can add another hole but ya can't take one away.

I'm using single coils. I don't care for the duals. I'm not taking the cap off to fill, so thats not it. As far as the initial carto fill is concerned I was filling it completely at first, but since I've been having problems I've changed it up. Now I fill it and then vape it out of the tank until I'm sure there's a decent amount of space in the filler.
