ANd that is what I find so bloody ironic about this whole situation. When I was a new vapor it just blew my mind that ANYONE would be against something that both reduces the harm and is so successful at getting people to quit. Now I know better and hate politicians more than I already did.

We've got one, though I'm unsure of the forum name. Something like News & Media, maybe. Still, if the title uses the name of a US Senator, it's probably not filled with technical mixing instructions.

Why bother- that women is USELESS - The good folks in California p*ss and moan and then re elect the same idiots into office time and time again. Lets face it - the Dem's have ruined this fine state. They give as much money to the unions as they can and soon will bankrupt the state. Leaving the other states to bails us out in a few years down the line.

The DNC and lefty liberals along with their rhino friends have ALWAYS been the party of regulation, taxation and control.
They just love to dictate how we should live our daily lives and they have always made government larger and more overbearing every chance they get. How have we let it come to this?

Did you know, that if 3/4 of the States ratify an amendment, it becomes part of the Constitution? That is the only way we will ever get anything like term limits passed. The public supports this idea by a 75% majority, yet it never seems to even make it to the floor for a vote! In their minds, they are a collection of elite rulers, telling us what is best for us. It is 100% our fault, too. It's not just this one, either. The vast majority of them from both parties are dreadful career politicians. I could pick 100 better Senators out of a phone book.

Damn, I have to get a white chip now at my next Political Talk Anonymous meeting.

Ive actually herd some of them say we have to do what best for the people in spite of what they want! I like what Co did this year they sent some folks to Washington those folks broke some promises the first few weeks they were there and Co fired them and sent some different people. We need to do this more often.

Sadly, vaping is a political issue, since politicians, political appointees, and well practiced lobbying groups are targeting vaping with laws and regulations. Is it fair that Democrats are targeted here more frequently than Republicans? Probably not, since plenty of Republicans would screw us over just as fast.

In the meantime, you can easily avoid the thread to avoid being subjected to it. Seems pretty simple to me...

Seems kind of silly to go in to a thread titled "response from Senator Dianne Feinstein" then be up set because it has political over tones. IMO someone calling others political observations garbage posts, is the garbage post in this thread.

US President draws an annual salary of 400,000 per annum, senators usually less then 200,000 annually - compared to the paychecks some ( not even very successful ) CEOs are getting, these are coins in a beggar's cup...

Yet, while campaigning, tens of millions of dollar get spent by and on applicants for these positions...

The evidence will be incontrovertible soon enough. Politicians on neither side of the aisle will be able to take this position much longer.

I like your optimism and I hope you're right. But I don't think our representatives are much swayed by facts. They're chasing their next election victory and will go where the campaign contributions lead them. If their high dollar contributors are against electronic cigarettes then that is the position they will take, facts be damned.

A very good point. It may be a waste of time, but her ignorance is partially our fault if we don't at least attempt to educate her.
