SORRY! I meant to post this on the New Members forum... I have no idea how to delete this post...

I haven't vaped for about 1-2years now, except the occasional vaporizers bought in corner stores/depanneur (they are so hard to draw from).

I did not keep myself up-to-date and from when I started, it seems like some things have changed. Now, after reading a bit, I think either a Ego-C or Ego-C Twist would be the best to restart vaping with, for me. Any critique?

I also HATED filling cartos, but loved the ease of use. I read a bit about clearomizers and then about tanks... Which would be the least tedious to fill, easy to clean and long lasting? I remember I had to spin my cartos using socks to get the liquid inside the cartos. I do not want that again.... :p

I would also love to jump to a mod eventually. I really like bottom-feeders as it seems the easiest to use (no need for cartos/dripping), but it seems to me that it would be hard to try a lot of juice with bottom-feeders. Is that any true?
Tube mods seem cool, too. Minus the convenience of bottom-feeders. Should I start with a ego, or directly go to a mod, or not? I had KR808s and a Ego pass-through 2 years ago, if that changes anything.

Thanks!

Go with the ego twist and grab yourself a vivi nova tank. You will be in vaping heaven without having to put too much money down. I slimmed down on devices and now only use two twists and vivi tanks. Each atomizer with cleaning will last at least a week and sometimes up to 3 weeks. You won't be disappointed, if you're into aesthetics get the mini vivi nova it looks beautiful on a silver twist.

I second showmethevapa's suggestion. I like the vivi nova's more than the other clearomizers mentioned, but it wouldn't hurt to try them all and see what works best for you.

Testing flavors isn't a problem with bottom feeders. You can use them like any other ecig, and just ignore the bottom feeder part of it, so really it would be the same as anything else.

Whether you get a mod or not is up to you, but i think twists would be a great way for you to get back into ecigs.

i'm going to put my vote in for the twist as well. and i just got a couple of vivi nova mini's today, and i absolutely LOVE them!!! the kanger t2's are also really good, but be careful turning the dial on the twist too high with them. you get that funky, burnt taste. definitely go with the twist, though. it's a cost-effective way to get back into the game and try out the whole variable voltage world without having to invest too much coin. and the form factor can't be beat. they're pocket sized and very reliable. just make sure you get it from a reputable vendor so you know you're getting a genuine twist. there are lots of clones out there.

Ego Twist + Vivi Nova 2.5 is a great combination, or the twist + stardust v3. I am a newb and have both and lean towards the Vivi Nova more I have to say. They both are easy to clean, the heads/wicks are cheap to replace and also easy to refill. The long wicks on both are preferable, short wicks are also available but will require you to tilt the unit on angles so that the juice reaches the wick.

If you are looking for info, search for Vaperchase,Grimmgreen or Pbusardo reviews of whatever product you want info about on here or on youtube... you can read the forums of course, but I always found the watching videos after reading was really good as the visual helps me to understand what people are talking about a whole lot more.

Good luck, it is worth it!

Thanks all you guys for the help!

I just put my order through CapitalNicFit for
2x EGO-C Twist
2x Vision Stardust (part of bundle)
1x Carry Case
1x USB charger / 1x Wall Charger
2x Vivi Nova v2

but my order isn't paid yet. Did I chose the right vendor?

Also, I am looking around to buy one EGO-C cone + atty + drip tip to test juice. Any vendor suggestion?
Would this: eGO-C Conversion Kit (Black or Steel) work?

Not really, you could get all that stuff cheaper somewhere else.

At canvape, that stuff would cost around $92, if you add some more stuff, or upgrade the batteries you could get free shipping too(need 100). Also you can get 10% off your first order with a coupon code. "firstorder" i think.

If i added it up right, it would be $128 at CNF plus shipping.

You would have to order liquid separate from somewhere else if you go with canvape, but it will still save you quite a bit of money.

That conversion kit won't work for you. That is a ego-c cone, which is a tank atomizer. You can't really drip with those.

You don't really need the cone at all, but if you were to use one, something like this would work: Ego Cone/Atomizer Cover Black or Stainless With a atomizer and drip tip.

Not a fan of capitalnicfit, got some knockoff ego's a few years back and don't trust them. Gentlemens reserve, nicfitnation, vaporgeek, are all good. Wouldn't worry about getting the stardusts or t2's they will sit there while you blow clouds through your nova

Sorry showmethevapa, but I use all 3 devices - different juices and different voltages and different PVs. The one thing I have learned vaping, is that different strokes for different folks :D

None of the devices mentioned are really expensive, so go ahead and get 1 of each, and see how they sit with you ! Whatever one works for YOU, go for it :)

Hey hoper :)

I was also going to try out a Boge Revolution but as DemonCleaner said.. bit of a PIA and if you get one it might turn you off of bottomfeeders :)

I think Project guy saw the word Boge ( which makes cartomizers ) and assumed that was what you were talking about.

I think you will be really happy with the twists, I have had a few ego's clones, lavatube, and twists, and I love the twists for their no fuss no muss, when paired with something like a stardust or mininova.

Really that combo is about as easy as it is going to get ( currently :p ) and I am sure when you get it and are using it you will randomly smile while vaping it thinking "I wish this was how it was 2 years ago when I tried vaping". Atleast that is still what happens to me :)

I just got back into this about 5ish months ago ( I need smile and shine to let me know if that is right ) and it is WORLDS! better than those lipton tea bag, blue foam days you were around for!

Welcome back!

The larger battery sized ones are not that much bigger than the "normal" size, and was still smaller than my lavatube so to me personally the length didn't really matter.

When my Lavatube died due to me abusing it constantly, I ended up just grabbing a few twists to replace it and have been very happy.

That is until I see the next shiny thing.. which I have a tendency to be drawn to :D
