The plant that we aren’t allowed to talk about here is also known to have neuroprotective qualities. Best part is it does this at low dosage so you can keep your wits about you while still getting the brain protection benefits.

It's also vapeable!

And soon to be legal and readily available in Illinois. We spoke of the day you could walk in a store a buy some while hanging out behind the high school during shop class smoking cigarettes among other things. Thou we never thought it would come to fruition, kind of a pipe dream back then. The pipe we made on the lathe in shop class. It’s funny because we did say when we were in charge and running the world I think our generation would be enlightened enough to make it legal. It’s fun reminiscing about the carefree days of my youth.

Yea I figured Illinois would have done it sooner being the state is broke. Seems like a good way to drum up some revenue and like you said, the sky seems to be able to withstand it. I’m pretty sure it’s not as detrimental to society as gambling is and they had no problem making that legal. Well seeing as this thread has been officially derailed I’ll step down from my soapbox and just say Welcome back to ECF @Electrodave, it’s good to have you back.

So, it's been 8 weeks tonight, and I feel that I've pretty comfortably made the switch from smoker to vaper. Any urges specific to cigarettes are quickly blown away in a puff of steam. OK, more like a man-made nicotine fog.

Something weird happened to me Thursday morning. I was about to fill a tank, and saw a bottle of juice labeled "Vanilla 5mg". I remembered that I had made some 5mg juice so my wife could try vaping...don't ask...
So I thought "I wonder what that would be like?" I had managed to vape myself nic sick again that morning on the 20mg juice I've been vaping.

I vaped just that tank all morning, wondering when the cravings were going to start. When they didn't, I filled a couple of other tanks. By Thursday night, I was starting to mix down very small batches of my 20mg to 5mg. Yesterday, I filled every tank in the house with 5mg juice. I kept pretty good track of my juice usage, and it was about 7ml for the day, not much more than the 4-6ml that I had been using.

I'm still doing well, although still vaping more, on 5mg. I wonder what happened? Why would my nicotine tolerance take a dive like that?

Not that I'm complaining.
