Firstly let me apologise if this isn't a very technical review. It's simply my personal opinion.

My experience of the Intellicig began at the web site Electronic Cigarette , Intellicig - Smoke Healthier . There is plenty of useful information here which helped to convince me to choose Intellicig as my first e-cigarette. I was also reassured by the 30-day unconditional guarantee. My starter kit came the day after ordering - postage for all orders is just 99p - and I was pleased to find that the batteries had already been charged prior to despatch. I popped a cartridge in and was impressed by both vapour and taste. I now also own a nice black 901 from Pillbox and the taste of the generic cartridges is...well... weird. Not so with the Intellicig. I started out with x high regular cartridges which were very satisfying. Having smoked myself silly the vapour began to reduce a little - one drop of glycerine later tons of vapour and the same good flavour. I was hooked.
I have been using my Intellicigs for almost 4 weeks now. Battery life varies depending on how heavily I'm going at it, but if I'm really hammering it I get about four hours per battery - much longer if smoking less. The 901 seems to be about the same in this regard. The cartridges are small but easy to top up with an eye dropper (i've tried some of their new flavours lately - the cigar and mint are great). My routine is to have two chargers and four batteries, which I rotate. The other day an atomiser went cold on me - it was replaced in the next day's post.
What's the vapour like? I'm an ex pipe smoker and I like the Intellicig because it smokes very like a pipe. My 901 smokes more like a cigarette (lighter on the draw). Both the Intellicig and 901 produce clouds of vapour if encouraged to do so - I find the Intellis to be more manageable, but this is probably because
I'm more used to them. These little fellers also look very similar to a real cigarette - I prefer the blue tip batteries for this reason. It makes life much easier when vaping in public when you don't have a red tip! I have also found Intellicig's prices to be very reasonable for the UK market. I wouldn't be without them now - especially as they've freed me from my tobacco habit!:D

i purchased a electronic cigarette from intellicig about a week ago. the customer service and delivery time was excellant but the overall "smoke" has been a little dissapointing. i find it very hard to get a decent amount of vapour........sometimes none at all. i tried inhaling slower, faster, harder, softer but nothing seems to make a difference. even with a fully charged battery and a brand new cartridge i still struggle to get a good smoke from it. i would say that the 1st two puffs from a brand new cartridge will give me a small "kick" but after those two initial drags i get nothing!

could i be doing something wrong or is it possible i have a defective vapouriser/unit?

Hello to all, useful info here, much appreciated.

As a complete e-cig virgin so far, have been researching but still undecided between a 901 sounds like good, workmanlike beast to start with (and comes in black, much sexier) OR an Intellicig. Spoke with the latter earlier today and they have said they are going to have black ones in later this week.

The deal-breaker for me will be: do 901 cartridges fit in the Intellicig or not? The gentleman I spoke with wasn't sure. Looks as if you can get hold of 901 carts in lots of places and flavours, also can get 'empties' to use with e-liquid, which I want to do! (very broke)

Pipeman at the start of this thread seems to have both, could he let me know? Want to order asap - mix of cigs + baccy I'm using at present has given me the most appalling cough and getting worse day by day...

Help...croak...

Well - 901 cartridges definitely will NOT work with an Intellicig (which is an improved version of a SuperMini). If you want to buy generic cartridges then a 901 is a good way to go. BUT - and I think this is a big "but" - 901 carts (generic) taste awful to me and I have to top them up before I start smoking them. I usually use a mix (50/50) of TW Tobacco flavour and glycerine. Alternatively the Intellicig cartridges taste much better to begin with (I like the Orange because it tastes of...tobacco.) In fact the carts you get with an I-Cig start-up pack imho are very good flavourwise. They do several different flavours now. Also you should think about how much a start-up pack will cost you (if the carts taste bad it doesn't matter how many you get). You will need at least 1 charger, batteries x 2 and at least 1 atomiser(I would also get a spare). The thing I like best about Intellicig is that you get a 30-day unconditional guarantee. If something breaks or isn't right just give them a call - from experience I know that they will replace/fix/advise asap. This is handy when you're starting out. And a drop of glycerine will give you more vapour whatever you choose. All the best - in my view e-cigs are the future of smoking. (I'm biased because I no longer smoke tobacco - having smoked since I was 12 (I'm now 47).
If you'd like to cut down or give up any e-cig is a good way to go. All of the above is simply a personal opinion - but it's based on my experience for what it's worth.

Pipeman - thankyou so much for wonderfully comprehensive reply.
Have taken your advice on board and decided to go the 901 route to start; Pillbox is doing some very cheap ones on eBay at the moment!
I'm not too bothered if the carts don't taste too good as want to experiment with liquids anyway.
Also will likely get some menthol ones (already like it) as I gather it's a useful tip-off for when the cartridge is running out.
I'd already spotted that having spare atomisers and batteries is sensible, and made a note to buy some glycerine from the chemists too.
I'm also 30 year+ nicotine junkie and basically want to cut out the tobacco (but not necessarily the nicotine) so am likely to be in for the long haul here! Thanks once again and best regards.

Intellicigs are great, but there juice dosnt give much throat hit personally i like that, and the quality of there batteries are poor but there customer services seems top notch, i had 3 batts 2 genie 1 atom both genies had mental issues, intellicig sent me 2 replacements a few days after emailing them great :) but although these batts work mostly they still abit inbread it seems.

My new magnum eze seems to be the amazing so far even easy to refill but i am worried its burning paper.

when i get my dse901 n tecc 510 spares i will compare but all are very usable ecigs when there working.
