Elaine, I'm more worried that she just read the first line,

"Each member of the University must endeavor to:

1. promote the best interests of the University of Kentucky"

and didn't want to go against BP and loose the money coming in from them by not toeing the company line.

Unfortunately, this is not Limited solely to the University of Kentucky.

It is something that All Researchers consider when it comes to Funding.

Yes, a year or two back I left a message for him through his website.
Surprisingly, I never heard back from him.
;)

If your Serious, what you need to do is Contact him thru his Agent.

Include a couple of Brief Paragraphs about why e-Cigarette Users need him and How this would be Good Public Exposure for Him. The slant should be on the Public Exposure.

You also want to mention that your Organization is also Contacting other Celeb’s, do some name dropping, who might also want to give their support.

The Hook with anyone in the Public Spotlight is the Exposure. Most people who live on the “Lighted Stage” Love seeing their Name in the Media.

Yes, I was serious. And maybe once the FDA proposes their "deeming" regulations, I might just do this.

Good Deal DC2…

The problem with going thru a Persons Web Site is that they get 1,000’s of Starry-Eyed Fans wanting to say How much of a Fan they are. Most are not even Read in Many Cases.

BTW - Here is a Great Example of Bad Reporting of Science.

E-Cigarettes Pose No Risk of Heart Disease, Study Finds - Businessweek

Who is Konstantinos Farsalinos?
When was the Study Done?
How was the Study Done?
Where is the Link to the Study?

1)He is the Greek researcher (http://www.escardio.org/about/press...nces/Documents/konstantinos-farsalinos-cv.pdf)
...that was interviewed on Vape TV. VPLive Vape Team Episode #25: Proof Positive - YouTube

2) Completed recently. Results were just reported at the European Society of Cardiology 2012 Congress. ESC 2012 Munich - Cardiology Conference Coverage

3) It's a small study. Here is a description: http://escapetheanalog.blogspot.com/2012/08/farsalinos-study-released-on-e.html

4) The results were announced as a presentation at a medical conference, thus the usual type of "link to the study" isn't available; however the link above in #3 gives a lay-person's summary of the study. The text of the presentation is only available to members of the society.

Hopefully, Dr. K will have the results published in a scientific journal.

See this is what I'm talking about.

You had No Problem Informing a Reader of this Information. Why couldn't the Writter of the Article have done so?

I wish you had been the Staff Writter who wrote this Article Vocalek. You would have done a Much Better Job of Doing it.
