BigJim.... That grill looks to be "infrared"...although I can't confirm that.I would take my "orion Cooker" over his any day of the week!:)The Wiz!

Wiz, yes it has a Infrared back burner but was using the Nat Gas last night! I can assure you I have all the proper accouterments for food preparation!;)

I will go check out his "orion Cooker" you speak of!

 Don't tell me all those Steaks were microwaved! Jim, not sure if Velveeta should be deep frozen! We need to talk!:D

No, my steaks are packed in air tight freezer bags, air removed, and frozen. I have about 10 pounds sitting in there waiting for my plate, I can't eat it all at once. :D

(All the junk food belongs to my sons, except the Bubba Burgers. )

PTJD.....I almost bought a Char-Broil Infrared this year.....buy when I saw the Orion Cooker on sale for $69.99 I got that instead. The only set-back is it requires match-light charcoal to get it fired up...which can be expensive! I have(all with one bag of coal),cooked 6 slabs of baby back ribs and 2 4lb chickens in one sitting.meat falls right off the bone on the ribs!:)the Wiz!

OK, had to think of something simple to make and explain to you. Oh, I am now thinking The Wiz is still busy cleaning his Orion cooker from the weekend.:D

Need to brine the chicken first, and prefer the Grana Padano Parmesan if I can get it. A nice bottle of rather young Sangiovese in the sauce and for the meal.

Now, the closest I could find looking through your epicurean magic so you would understand was maybe a can of Pearl Beer and this:

Hmm, I tend not to post the boxes of the frozen dinners I use as a base of a final dinner.

Your secret has been revealed. :D

Actually PTJD I never fired up the cooker last weekend(although I did grill some lovely skirt steak and made fajitas)I am at a crossroad right now on whether to do the baby-backs this weekend or pork shoulder...in either case the Orion is cleaned and ready to go(pictures will be forthcoming):)The Wiz!

Ah, Wiz look forward to it, go for the shoulder, takes longer but well worth it!

BigJim must be out taking pictures at China King and 7-11 tonight?
Not too much longer on the Orion PTJD....About 3 hours? last time I cooked the shoulder(5 or 6 pounder).I think I will use apple chips this time instead of hickory....I'm sure BigJim is having a T-bone or somthing!..LOL:)The Wiz!
