In regards to filling cartos I have tried the Taryn method, the syringe method, the condom method and filling from the top. This is the way I fill my Mega Dual Cartos:
The first fill of a carto is very important. If the batt end does not have juice you run the risk of burnt taste and/ or premature carto failure because of dry stuffing. My Mega Carto take 60 drops to fill.
I use a blunt needle and first fill from the battery end and then immediately roll the carto on a table. I do this 2-3 times. I then fill from the top until the stuffing looks like a “slushie”. Roll on a flat surface again. Get a paper towel and blow the excess juice out the battery end. Clean off the threaded battery end. Later if I refill from the top and overfill I've found many times rolling the carto on a flat surface will force the juice into the stuffing. My cartos last approx 2 weeks but that includes cleaning them twice.
