Everyone already knows this, but gee whiz. There should be a billboard and a bull horn involved.

It's just sooooo easy. The coils don't have to be perfect... they can be as ugly as you want them to be... the legs don't have to be placed any special way... just trim the wick in such a way it won't end up in the feed hole and try to get the coil somewhere near the air hole.... and there is absolutely nothing else to think about. Drill bit - machine screw - tooth pick - chop stick... whatever. Big - little - in between... long - short - tight - loose... no matter. It doesn't even have to be round. This thing will make vapor pretty much no matter what you put in there.

This is, what I experienced. Whatever coil I do, whereever I place it, however much wick (KGD) I use, the RM2 delivers vape.
But then, the rba setup still matters.
If you are running any setup, just lower or highten the coil a little above the deck, and you will immediately notice a difference in taste and vape temperature.
Same is true for the coil position to the air hole, the number of coil wraps, the coil diameter and the wire gauge.

Then, when you think you know it all, you build a setup, that is better than anything you built before.
And you wonder, what the heck caused this improvement...

I'd agree that there's no 'bad' setup on a RM2, just degrees of good to great. The cool thing I found is that once I'd dialled in my perfect vape on it (experimentation was easy and rewarding), I could use those heuristics to make better setups on any RDA. The RM2 upped my entire game.

Folks who golf know that there's a club in your bag that never lets you down. For me, it's my trusty 7 iron - simply can't hit a bad shot with it. A good couple of shots with it early in a round and my whole day is better. The RM2 is my vaping 7 iron.

The rm2 is all I have ever used so I cannot compare it to anything. It has never let me down and I am quite faithful to what I consider perfection.

You are the wise one O Rat2chat2. I've got other atty's and none are as trouble free and perform as well as the RM2. You aren't missing anything (especially money).

If you don't mind me asking. . . what does drilling the post out do as far as the quality of the vape? Inquiring minds. . .

Well I'm not Gill so can't say for sure, but I don't see him rocking 22g wire so I suspect its for old eyes easing the wire in the hole.

You know the blind squirrel finding a nut ...... on the first try :D

Sadly that's exactly why. I didn't notice any difference in flavor or clouds. Even if the one side of the post was beveled and not drilled all the way through would ease wire installation for me anyway. ;)
