I noticed a few posts in here suggesting that battery life was poor on the Npro/RN4081. I haven't used a 4081 model yet, but the Npro I have lasts for at least 8-10 hours without issue if properly charged. It may be worth noting (for those of you who continue to use this model/type) that the charger is a dirty lier :). I've depleted my batteries several times, plugged them into the charger and IMMEDIATELY got a green light. That cannot be correct. So as per the instructions I usually put a battery into a 2-4 hour charging cycle when it depletes, rather than using the charger light as an indicator.

You may want to drop by PureSmoker.com and check out some of the HOW TO videos, as the gentleman there does describe charging technique and also confirms (at least with similar models such as the PeeWee) that the charger lies, which can negatively impact the battery life, and its lifespan, if not charged properly.

Just my 2 cents, though I am still a noob in all of this. I can honestly say I'm loving every minute of not being a traditional smoker anymore!

Hey everyone,
This is my first post on ECF and my second day using a NJOY NPRO. Had to go on one hell of an epic journey to get the cig though. I ended up driving over 100 miles total to go and pick it up. Someone needs to tell people to sell these things in New Orleans.

Anyway the NPRO is amazing. I never thought that is would feel so natural. The vapor is thick and the hit is strong. Even with the carts that everyone has said tasted so bad and perform poorly I have been enjoying myself nicely. The only set backs on this item is that you need to pull really hard to get a good inhale and the carts don't last as long as i had hoped.

I'm also taking any suggestions on superior products something with a lighter pull. As well as any suggestions on preferences of e liquids.

Thanks

In my experience with the NPRO, it took a little getting used to/working in. After a little over a week, I started noticing that the drags were MUCH easier to get a decent amount of vapor. So maybe hang in there for a little while if you're looking for the lighter pull. Also I started using e-liquid as a complete alternative to the njoy cartriges for much more vapor... got mine from phil @ e-smokeytreats.com

You can also buy the nPro at Costco.com

pricey, but it beats a 100 mile drive..........

I like m401/pilot hyrid..... but I still have the nPro and use it everyday. The draw gets easier over time and the atomizer lasts a very long time (so far anyway)

Where did you go to get it? The kangroo has one but i don't know the brand of the one there in Slidell. HWY 59 Texaco (kangaroo) has the npro , it is next door to the real kangaroo gas station in Mandeville.

Enjoy it while you can. Mine worked GREAT for a few weeks. It's been nothing but replace and replace since. And the draw sucks.:p

Anyone know of one similar that vapes good and lasts longer. Or could it be the PG? Does the glycerin vape better? I heard it's sweeter to the taste. Any suggestions?

The NPro is a nice little novelty to have around for certain times. VG will give you more vapor--but it also has a tendencey to leave a thicker Residue as the testing reports keep coming in. We will have a better grasp on it soon. Although VG leaves a heavy Residue--that Residue is easier to clean then the Residue of PG----------Sun

Haha yeah I went to the one on highway 59, at least i think about 57 miles there and back hence the 100 mile journey. But trust me it was a hell of a time and tons of fun. Thanks a lot for the info. I'm planning on getting some e-liquid soon because I'm using up at least two carts a day and I only bought 15 to start. The only reason I haven't ordered from an online store is because I'm not sure which ones to trust. I was going to order from puresmokers but when I tryed to call the number there was no answer. Though that may be my main supplier of the liquid.

Im sorry, I am going to snivel a bit here....
OK, Here goes!

I ordered the NPRO starter kit (for my first...yet to try this) and carts last week and then the next day ordered an extra atomizer after reading here how often they go out. I also ordered the NCIG (penstyle) for a backup unit a couple days ago. The NPRO atomizer arrived and I got the shipping confirmation email for the first order but it only lists the carts, not the starter kit though my copy of the invoice for that orer from my account page shows that the starter kit was shipped....I don't know what to think.

Yesterday I get an email that the NCIG is out of stock and on back order for 1-3 (???). I emailed back and asked 1-3 what days? weeks? months?

I also sent an inquiry this am asking if the originally ordered NPRO starter kit had been shipped with the carts. No reply yet.

So then today (still in the am) Njoy sends me an another email that said they (and ALL their retailers) are out of EVERYTHING due to a customs issue and it will be 2-5 weeks before they can send the NCIG. I respond by telling them I am waiting on the shipping status of the first order that shpped yesterday to see if the starter kit as included I included all the info (order & SO numbers etc) from my prevous inquiry too hoping I might get a quicker response. No reply on that yet.

SO I have ordered 2 different models (starter kits), carts and extra atomizers. Hefty initial investment and I have been charged. I have one atomizer and a shipping confirmation (that is different from the invoice) and only shows carts have been shipped. In a couple more days I might be able to start vaping IF the starter kit was shipped OR I will have some carts & spare atomizer which are useless w/o the rest. At which point I have to either wait out the 2-5 weeks OR request a refund and wait till the cash is back in my account so I can order elsewhere as putting out an ADDITIONAL $150 isn't in this month's budget....this is so far not a very positive first ordering experience.

Well I have had good experience with my Npro.Nothing from Npro for it has failed.
Atomizer life: 2 months and still going.Spare I bought from another site didnt last a week.
Battery life: Lasts me all working day.Spare battery I bought elsewhere doesnt fit as well and the performance isnt as good.
Carts: they are cheap, easy to "recycle",and fairly easy to fill.NJOYS are EXPENSIVE.Buy them elsewhere!
Cart life: poor. A careful longish fill or a fresh cart may last me a while.Otherwise im adding drops every "2 cigs" or so

Looking into getting another model to try myself. But "collecting them all" Pokemon style seems to be a popular hobby here ;)

I received my Liberation Jr, which i believe to be a RN4081, yesterday. www(dot)smokeliberation(dot)com/jr_classic(dot)html

And i gotta say i am not at all happy with it.

My first problem is the carts are a real pain when you compare them to a 901. The dinky little insert at the bottom of the mouth piece is just a pain. You have to keep a paper clip handy to 'poke' the cart out from the bottom. Or you can just drip blindly into the void, and hope you don't run down the side..

Also, my atomizer is not the 'inny' that i see in the reviews, but an 'outy'. Which i don't even want to try dripping on. It seems like it will just run down into the battery if i did. I've watched Spikey's video review, and her atomizer was different, it was the 'inny' recessed atomizer. I find it confusing..

Actually as a newcomer to E-smoking, i really wish sellers would just say what the make/model is, before rebranding them.

I think i'm going to keep this liberation jr as a last chance backup device, and order a 510. It certainly won't replace my 901 as a daily use e-cig.

My girlfriend had a njoy penstyle and it was ok(everything but the batts) The cart would last about 2 days before she had to refill, and she was a pack a day smoker just like me. But the problem was when she got it one of the batteries didn't work, then she ordered another batt, and the night before the new one came the one that worked quit working. So after about 2 days of having the new(est) one it stopped working. So we sent it back and she got a npro. I'd say I like it a little more than my 901. Mainly because of the size. The cart lasts about a day with one refill in the morning and one at night. So I'd say it's a pretty good one to get.

I'm new to e-cigs, but 5 days without an analog feels GREAT! I bought a starter kit from a local seller who claimed ebay's ban left him with a bunch of kits. $55 later I had my first N4081 ecig. I also ordered an M401 from absolutelyecigs (5 days from China, BTW). Both are performing well.

The main thing I wanted to post was that I have found an interesting set of differences between the two and wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience...

N4081 - Easier draw, usually more vapor, less throat hit
M401 - Harder draw, less vapor, more throat hit

I have found that taking out the inside of the M401 cartridge and dripping yields a very satisfactory hit.

I have been looking for an e-cig to use and I have came to the conclusion that Ill be wanting a RN4081. I was just wondering if the Pee Wee from PureSmoker is the same thing? Also, I only smoke about 4/5 analogs a day and don't think that the small cartridges will affect me. Oh and the battery life should last me long enough, considering ill be only using it like 4/5 times a day.

Can anyone tell me of a better solution for someone who really doesnt smoke all that much. Also, what kind of liquid should I get? I want to get something that's SUPER low on nicotine, so I dont create a new habit for myself. Something like 4mg, considering thats like 4 cigarettes worth after 1 ml of liquid.... no?

The PeeWee is the RN4081.

Get the "low" nic carts and/or juice.

Even better, get the "0" nic carts and/or juice to finally get off of nicotine.

I highly reccommend getting the USB passthru and save your batteries for the road.

The PeeWee batteries have a 2-3 second cutoff so long drags are not possible with them. However, the Smoking Everywhere Gold edition is also a RN4081, but it has been my experience that their batteries have a longer cut off time and last longer..BUT....they will cost you an arm and a leg.

With the RN4081, it is best to drip right on the atomizer for better results in flavor and vapor.

This was my first e-cig from a Smoking Everywhere booth. Way overpriced but that's my fault. I discovered this forum shortly after buying it and couldn't believe the amount of negative comments about the Pee Wee. I decided to buy a 901 at Totally Wicked thinking that I could get a better experience.

I anxiously anticipated the 901 and when I got it, I was disappointed. The biggest problem I had with it is that leaked TOO much. I hate the taste of raw liquid and it got me close to puking at some point. Also because of the leaking, I believe I'm using TWICE the amount of juice as compared to my Pee Wee to get the same satisfaction.

Thinking it must be an atomizer issue I ordered several more plus another battery just in case from another vendor. When I received the parts, I had the same experience.

I do not get the leaking issue as much with the Pee Wee. The only time the thing leaks is because I've overfilled it or probably sucked on it too hard. I even ordered another kit from Totally Wicked (the black one) thinking that I must have an exceptionally super Pee Wee that out-performs any other Pee Wee, but I got the same quality experience from the newer one.

I still like the 901. I've learned to get the most out of it and maybe I'll like it even more as I continue to use it. I do get bigger hits at its good moments and it does taste sweeter than the Pee Wee but the leaking thing is a killjoy.

I ordered the Titan yesterday (I love e-cigs better than the real thing now). Maybe I'll like it better than the Pee Wee or maybe not. But for now, my Pee Wee and me are happy.

My only complaint with the Pee Wee (RN4081) is that I wish it vaped half as well as the USB pass-through made for it. No leaking, easy draw, and lots of vapor which I don't get from the unattached "on the road" unit. Luckily, I spend a lot of time at my computer. :)

Note: I also just ordered a M401 and hope that the description you gave is just a break-in period thing!
