So I just received my Rogue rda clone from 101vape, and it seems to have a similar design to the new Aoelus rda that people have been talking about. There are no side airflow holes, the airflow is a top airflow that is sucked in through slits in the top:

cost me about 12$ shipped from 101vape and it is vaping very well, I dont get that coil spitback/condensation dripping out the side airholes so far. Wondering if anyone has this Rogue RDA or has tried it, and has tried the new Aoelus RDA? If so, is the Aoelus that much different/better than the rogue RDA? I am quite liking the sleek and simple/low profile look of the Rogue RDA so far. If anyones looking for a new RDA to try out I'd suggest trying this sucker out, only downside so far is the screws are quite short, but I was able to fit a twisted 22gauge single coil build in there, so the holes are big enough to fit that in. The topcap gets pretty warm if you chainvape though.

I've honestly not tried the Aeolus, but I love my CIA Rogue. I can say I haven't heard many good things about the clone, but the authentic is a great RDA for flavor and its ability to not leak. Basically, avoid a clone of it if possible, I've heard most drip tips don't fit, and that it's harder to secure wire on than the original.

i have the clone, and all my driptips fit. you just have to twist it while u push it down cuz its a snug fit. securing the wire is not that hard as well unless you are using something like 20-20gauge twisted kanthal. untwisted 22g, 24, 26, 28 ive all had no problem securing them down.

The clone is only 10 bucks and its usable. Its nothing stellar thats going to go make me go out and buy the authentic, but its worth it for a 10$ atty.

I have a Rogue clone and a Lethal clone. The Lethal is very similar to the Aeolus in design with top airflow through side slits. I like the Rogue's smaller size and lighter weight. But the airflow is less adjustable than the Lethal. You can also run the Lethal in single or dual coil mode while the Rogue is designed for dual coils. The Lethal can run 510 drip tips or an included chuff cap. The 510 on my Rogue is a little tight, but all my tips fit. With both clones under $20, I'd just buy both.

I have the Tobeco Rogue with dual coils at 1.4 running at 5v. Lots of vapor with an easy draw but not as much flavor as I had hoped.

yeah, thats what i got from the clone as well. Not as much flavor as I had hoped, which is why i created this thread in the first place. I wonder what it is from reviewers that makes the aoelus flavor better than the rogue, they look like two very similar atomizers. Both tophole atomizers but the reviews ive seen of the aeolus say it has better flavor, I am still on the edge whether to try an aeolus or not because I dont understand how two top airhole atomizers can differ so much in flavor.

I have done 0.2-0.5 singles in the rogue, but still not as much flavor as I would get in other atomizers such as say a stillare or SOD5k. I feel like regardlessm top hole airflow will be less flavor, so I really dont understand how people rave about the flavor from the aeolus so I hope I get some replies of people who own both.
