I'm a Trucker who's been vaping w/ Janty eGo about 6 weeks now. Love the conveience and poratbility, but drip feeding can be a hassle. I try to drip every time I stop (customer, shipper. truck stop., etc) to save from the hassle of dripping while driving. Go out on overnight runs about once a week and I've been curious about cartomizers. Please keep in mind anything in a big truck HAS TO BE rough service. Is there a reletivly small, highly durable carto for standard Ego ? If so, where coild I find one ? Anything that leaks, requires syringes, or is difficult to fill or use would be out of the question as it will have a rough life in a big truck. Just ask my cell phone about that ! Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks. P.S. Been loking into NEOmini, that might eventually be the way to go.

I personally would try a tank specifically one from mom and pop vapor shop. Unlike most tanks it has a screw on the side that makes filling super easy. And depending on how you treat the cartomizer inside they can last for weeks!

Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop

The small one use standard size cartos and the big one uses the xl size.
A good site for cartos is surevapes. They have a 25 carto deal for i think $23.

Boge Mix n Match (5 Boxes)
i think it comes out to $0.92 a carto.

And if your using VG get a 1/4in saddle valve. You can get them cheap at hardware stores in the plumbing section. If you have a prepunched just add another hole, just make sure not to make it too big or you will get constant flooding. Then the carto is trash.

For simple use and durability on an Ego battery I'd suggest trying a pack of Boge 2.0 ohm cartos and a drip tip. (anything with a 510 thread will fit) If you prefill a couple cartos and put the condoms back on you can swap them on the road easily. With the drip tip you can top them off to keep them wet when you've got a chance. For added durability you can use the Ego cone to protect the carto even more, but it will tighten the draw a little.

Filler based cartos like the Boge will not taste quite a rich as dripping but are easy and abusable. Slightly less durable Ego options that fit well and hold a lot of juice are the Vision Ego (called stardust by some) and the Kanger T2. The Kanger holds over 2ml of juice and with the new mouthpiece seems very solid, as well as having cheap replaceable heads. I'd suggest getting the 1.8 ohm versions for a vape very close to dripping on an Ego.

Good luck finding a good fit!

I agree with Tom 10 on the EMDCC's - easy to fill, lasts long...

I recently got one of these from clouds of vapor:

VISION Black eGo Horizontal Dual Coil Cartomizer

It's burns a bit cooler than the EMDCC's and less volume but still more volume than your regular cartos. Easy to fill, no leakage...

The only thing for me with almost any filler cartos is I can detect the carto filler. So there's that. And I can taste it, in both this one and the EMDCC. It seems less of a taste after a while but I can still taste it vs. say the eGo-c tank system or the REO-mini where there is no filler with what I use with it - either a cisco 306 lr atty with a cannon drip tip or a Vapage gold universal hybrid atty with a 510 drip tip. The only thing with the Reo is that the "well" can hold extra ejuice and can spill out. The trick is to not over pump the bottle.... ;)

cartos are just as sturdy as attys. as long as you get a regular metal housed carto, its the same thing as an atty- the major difference between the two lies inside. any normal 510 carto will be rugged enough for the truck. just dont get any clear cartos or clearomizers as they are usually flimsy. like someone else mentioned, getting a cone will add to the durability, and IMO it is suggested. unless you go exclusively with the mega cartos (EMDCCs). with those, you dont use a cone.

In your profession, I'd suggest the Vmod XL from vapage.com. it will accept all 510 atties/cartos. There's a recessed connection that helps tremendously with protecting the connection. It has a changable 18650 battery that should last all day for a moderate-heavy vaper and a 9ml bottle on-board that is easy to squeeze. Just inveert the mod, squeeze lightly, draw and vape. Top button that is lockable and pocket-friendly. I love my Vmod XL. I have other mods and grab the VMXL most for its ergonomics, sturdiness and ease of use.

I just found the Vmod and i fell in love with it at first sight. Its a bit pricey but damn its nice looking. What kind of metal is it made out of? It looks like Alum. I have never tried a bottom feed but i love the idea.

It has an aircarft-grade aluminum shell and ABS plastic chassis. There's a video of one being run over by a truck. It's nice because swapping the bottle or battery is as easy and similar to field stripping a Glock. Takes less than a minute. The engineering of this thing is uncompromised. Completely mechanical, but very high-tech. There's usually a coupon code for 15%20%. Just Google
