Hey all, I had the day off and decided to try my rsst again. It's finally working better, but had a couple q's.

I am running it at .9 ohm with 2/3 wraps of 28 on magneto with sony vtc4 battery.

I did did the drill bit method and no torching of mesh until I placed into coil and waited for coils to all glow nice with a not full battery.

1. Does more pg or vg make it wick better? Using 6 nic prob 25/75, diluted 12 down with straight vg from 59/50.
2. I am 1/16 air hole and get a little tight draw, how much larger works better?
3. Does the slight tight draw help wick better?

How does it look btw?

Thinner juice will wick faster. I use 70%VG and add a few percent distilled water to thin it a bit. Works for me.

That depends on the power you are putting on it. At 0.9 ohms, I think I would open it up to 5/64" (0.078" from 0.062"). Mine is at 1/8" with a 0.5 ohm coil. That would be way too big for your setup IMO.

3. Does the slight tight draw help wick better?

No. These devices are not suction fed at all.

How does it look btw?

Pretty good :thumb:
