well, the kayfun v4 tobego clone didn't last long. the 'base' started wobbling and while tinkering with it.. it got shut. now i can't 'un-shut' it. im back to my cartotank setup for the time being. :/

what would be a good alternative for it? im thinking of buying some RTA from fasttech. i know it takes a while for it to arrive so i'd rather buy in 'bulk' with everything i need. can you guys recommend 2-3 RTA (for provari) from them? also i would like to get a cheap/clone of a good RTA for my provari ASAP, any good US site? i see a "The Russian 91% V2 rba By Kebo" from evcigarettes for $39. dunno if it's cheap or reputable seller though (i haven't been following. sorry)

The Kayfun 3.1 clone by EHPro is a long time favorite among RTA fans. The 3.1 has a side fill hole with a set screw plug for easy filling. It's a single coil deck rather than a dual coil like the K4 and that gives you plenty of room for coiling and wicking.

The Kayfun 4 is a great atty, but it has lots of parts and it's a more advanced version of Kayfun. You might want to start with the Kayfun Lite Plus or the Kayfun 3.1. You can find either for about $20 if you search around. www.VapeNW.com is a good place to start.

If the air control ring is stuck, try loosening the contact screw on the bottom cap and then loosen the bottom cap a half turn. Then, you can use a small allen wrench in one of the air holes to turn the ring. When the bottom cap is tight you can't turn the ring.

A rubber sheet type jar opener can be a useful tool for gaining some grip on atomizer parts to turn them when your fingers slip. Another trick is to cut strips of duct tape and apply them to the sections you are trying to turn. Just remember that the bottom center contact screw tightens up everything above it.

Invert the K4 when you are doing anything to the deck to adjust air flow. The juice will stay in the tank that way while the bottom cap is loosened.

Do you have a Provari 2.5, 3 or something else?

I have three Provari 2.5. Why Provari?

I used a Kayfun Lite Plus (authentic, no experience with clones). I don't use either much any more because the airflow hole is too small for my current preferences. But for over a year, this setup was my everyday, all day setup. I made a single coil 1.5 ohm coil for the KFL+.

i have the provari 2.5
I don't have any good recommendations from the top of my head, other than that I really liked the Aqua v2 and it should work well with higher-resistance builds (good clones exist, but I'm not familiar with any US stores), but I thought information on which Provari version you have would help people make better recommendations.
