Hello everyone, I usually just lurk around, but had a question I wanted to ask chopper or anyone else who might give me some insight. I had ordered some atom bombs and ceramic wicks from chopper in the past. I must say those atom bombs still amaze me on the amount of vapor that comes out of that device. I also bought a couple of aga-t's a while back. Here is my question. I really like using 28 gauge kanthal. It is more durable and can vape on it a while before it has to be replaced. My problem is on a wick that does not have alot of diameter, not very fat, I cannot get enough 28 gauge on it to vape. I get a .6,.8 resistance and just get low ohm warnings. I was thinking about drilling the hole on the aga-t so I could get a thicker wick so I might be able to use the 28 gauge. On the atom bombs I guess I would have to do the same. I am having to use 30 gauge on these items at the moment. Anyone have any better suggestions? Or do you know what size I would need to drill them to? I will say also that the dealings I have had with chopper have been a pleasant experience.
Thanks

Thank you for the kind words.I have been drilling mine out to 1/8 and finding it to be the best.Of course you have to make your wicks bigger and tighter but not to tight. That will give you plenty of room to use 28 gauge wire or least it should. You will have just enough space on the AB to drill out to a 1/8 hole.Just be careful when drilling it out.3/32 ceramic wicks don't hold up to well for 28 gauge wire because they are fragile to a point. So I would go with 1/8 hole and bigger wicks.I hope this has helped you,if not let me know.It has been great dealing with you as well, take care.

I am able to wrap a 4/5 wrap by hand on a 3/ 32 wick. I have heard others getting results by using a drill bit.

We now have power again!!!!!!!!!!!!! It came back on at 8:30 this morning,so 25hrs without it was not all that bad.I could hardly sleep though,I missed my nightly routine which consist of playing Playstation 3 before bed to relax lol.

I have tracking for the wicks that people have already paid for on their way to me now.Soon as they get here I will mail out.Thank you all that have been waiting for your patience.

One word for both posts YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On tank 2 with the AGA-T all is good. I hate to say it, I think this will take the place of the Atom Bomb and the R-Mod. I have it wrapped with a 5/6 wrap and 28 ga Kanthal and it is at .9 ohms. Can't push it past 3.1 with the Provari or the protection kicks in but man even at that low of a voltage it rocks! Is the tank on it glass or plastic? I think it is glass but don't want to drop some glass eating cinnamon juice in it till I know for sure. I have had a few tanks eaten by this juice before

I can see another one of these in my future, maybe going with a mechanical set up. What you recommend the Bolt as a good mechanical mod for a AGA-T setup?

Chopper you have stocked another winner here. Just another reason why you are my only supplier in the ecig community!

I know what you mean by it replacing other RBA's lol its my only one now.Eric at DiscountVapers has a mechanical called The Natural which I just got mine in from him the other day.The AGA-T2 rocks on that device.I will post the video I just did the other day of it at the end of this post.Even though you would have to buy from a supplier other then me,Eric is a good guy.Iv'e known him for going on 2 years now.The Natural is a true 3.7 device its a beast. The tank is Pyrex glass so you will be okay with that cinnamon. If something should happen to it I will replace it for you,but I have no worries it will hold up.Thank you Shel for all your support. How are you liking that drip tip?

Will look into that, looks very interesting. I am sure I can come up with enough to make an order. :) I lOOOOOOOVE THE DRIP TIP :)
I haven't used my shorties since I got it. I have a draw full of drip tips and the only ones I use are the shorties and now this new one. Those drip tips look like they are made for the AGA-T. What size washers are you using on your set up? I am thinking I need to get some. Might make it easier to avoid that dreaded hot spot on the top. Thanks for clarifying on the tank. I am sure it will hold up not so sure about the plastic insert through. But I see I can find the parts kit for the AGA-T quite easily. Might have to invest in a couple of those :)

I might get those drip tips on the site at some point lol.The washers size has slipped my poor little brain. When I ship your ceramic wicks I will send you a couple. So was your wick hole drilled out or not?If you buy that Natural please mention my name in the order comments box,it may score me some brownie points lmao.Maybe Eric will read this and get a laugh.

Nope it was not drilled out. But it takes a longer wick then the AB or the R-mod. Had to make a wick good thing I had a little 400 mesh laying around.

I will let Eric know you referred me when I order. Maybe you can get a discount for referring your customers to him LOL
