Too small.I'm not a big fan of a fill hole in the silica cap.In my experance if its layed on its side it leaks out the whole.Thats why the ones I have like that I plug.
Gotcha, that was my experience too when I tried out the Scubagen in terms of leaking out thru the fill hole if I didn't keep it upright.
Maybe that hole in threads will work like you mentioned in the other thread if not too much trouble nor causes leaks, since he's going back to the hole in the cap.
I wonder if it's possible to use an o-ring on the threads and slip the cap on vs. screwing them down? That way you can adjust the cap and where the air hole is since some like it in one place than others and that way it would make it easier for him to just drill them the correct height vs. having to screw on each and make sure the hole is where the majority of people use it. From what I hear, if you move the vent hole in one place it gives you a hellacious TH but not much vapor and move it the opposite side and it give you the vapor but not much TH, would be nice to alternate for those stressful days at work when you need a good kick LOL
