I placed my order for the Hana Modz V3 full sized in Copper color on March 21st, received the confirmation email the same day, order#100001557, I received the shipping notification (didnt notice it till a day later because it comes in from someone named George Makoutz. I emailed S. S. Vape about this so they might had changed it by now.) on May 8th and it shipped out that same day, I had USPS Priority Mail 2 day Reserved and I received it this past Saturday May 10th. So I waited 7 weeks & 1 day, which was 6 dates earlier than the 8-10 week wait time estimated by S. S. Vape. I could have had to wait another 20 days before it was "late" according to the estimated wait time. Kudos to S. S. Vape for telling us a realistic wait time, there's nothing I hate more than a company that says a product has a wait time of say... 5-6 weeks then it ends up coming in in 7.5 weeks. I would much rather have a company do like S. S. Vape did and tell me that it might be a bit longer than reality. Beware the soldering to the battery bay is shoddy (I'll probably resolder it myself.), and there are a few dents/dings/imperfections in the surface of the metal, and where the positive and negative leads go from the bayttery bay and enter the covered electronics portion of the board, they dont fit the slots that were milled out for them and it causes the semi-opaque red plastic electronics cover to sit slightly proud and makes the cover plate unable to be screwed all the way down, and the tabs on the ends of the plastic battery bay are about 0.022" too high and that also contributes to the cover plate not sitting flush, and the anodizing/electroplating (whatever it is) is inconsistent between the cover plate and the rest of the body. Other than that, its decent. Since it uses super low quality dome buttons that are just hot glued into place, and the wiring is super sloppy, I think that a more acceptable price is $195-$215, since you can get a Vapor Shark for $170, and the Vapor Shark has a much much higher build and fit/finish quality than the Hana, and you dont have to wait longer than a couple weeks since they ship on the 15th of every month. I think if Vapor Shark made theirs in different colors and a full sized 18650 version, there would be no market for the Hana. Since the full sized Hana can have a 2600+ mAh battery like the Sony VTC5's it is in demand, and the Vapor Shark's 1200mAh battery is less than half of it and not user replacable/serviceable. The good thing about the 18650 Hana, is you can charge it with the USB port or use it as a passthrough, or swap out the battery manually if youmforgot or were unable to charge it through the USB port. I do wish it had a USB charging board with a higher charging current. The 500mA (0.5 A) that it outputs is too low for the high discharge Sony batteries. Charging a battery with too little current is almost as bad as charging it with too much current. I would love it if it was variable through the DNA's menu to tune the charge current to each specific battery's charge current specs. So because of that I would recommend that you dont use the USB port to charge your batteries that require more/less current than 500mA (0.5A), like the Sony's do.
