+1 on the Ozone generator. There's another post here on how to get rid of cigarette smell. It has a link too some low cost machines.
It can be used for the house too. Very effective. I think the post is removing cigarette smell from the house.

I did the ozone in my van and it completely go it rid of the smell

I was going to add I did the ozone machine thing in my apartment after a neighbor had a fire which sent smoke through the vents into all the apartments in the building. It worked. Even got the stench out of my books.

The least expensive thing you can do for your vehicle is to change the cabin air filter. You would not believe how many people think their car A/C system needs servicing when all they needed to do was improve air flow by getting rid of that clogged up, gommed up thing.

Then do the self-detail thing by vacuuming all seats and cleaning all surfaces with whatever cleaning solution you prefer.

My MIL used to smoke in the car with the windows up. Damn it was wretched. I had to move her car one day and I couldn't hardly stand it. I always cracked a window and never used the ashtray in the car. I had a bottle of water I would put the butts in and reseal. I enjoyed smoking but always hated the stench. My car pretty well cleared out of the smell by the time my sense of smell came back and I love it.

Get a fog machine and blast it with a good ejuice flavour,like Halo Maibu.

Actually, my car smelled fine until I vaped a particular tobacco flavored juice for about a week. A week later and it still stinks!
