Good plan but I have found that the best safety net is to NEVER drive a van or truck to Ikea. Only small sub compact cars that cannot carry too much...

I own a 2002 Ford Focus. While you would think it would fit in to the 2nd category ... once you flip the back seat bottom forward, and the seat backs down ... it holds as much as some smaller vans ... so yeah ... I'm SOL. :p

I could have bought the eGo and a box of Boge cartos and been happy at minimum expenditure. But, then I would always wonder if there was something better out there I missed!

We all have to wander a bit before settling down.

Agree, how would you know if what you are using (including the high end stuff) is any good without comparing.

Oh dear, You are SOL for sure.
If you really want to tempt fate, you might want to go through the kitchen or office storage stuff. There are a bunch of ideas on orgainizing your vaping supplies.

Nothing wrong with trying newer and better stuff as long as you do it in a reasonable manner. I find it useful to depend on multiple reviews of new equipment before I take the plunge. In the end, you have to try it yourself but that does not mean that you have to try everything that comes out and when it comes out.
Take your time. There have been a number of items that I put off the purchase of long enough for others to find that it may not be what I was looking for.
I believe that looking for the perfect setup is part of vaping but I also keep in mind that, for me, vaping is a replacement for smoking.
If you think about it, did you ever find a perfect smoking experience? I never did.
I found a brand that I got used to over time that did not make me gag.
My vaping experience has already far surpassed that without even lookig at the health aspects.
My belief is that my perfect vaping experience is always going to be at least one generation of equipment in the future as my taste and expectations change.

My advice would be...If you're happy with what you've got then stick with it. Why spend money and time because there might be something better out there.

You don't try every woman on the planet before you settle on one and marry her. Sure you can wonder if there may be a better one kicking around somewhere. But if she makes you happy and you get along real well why 'wonder' at all ?

as a newbie i am a bit bewildered with all the 'Mods' etc .That you can get into.At the mo i am using an Ego-c 1100mah with CE4 clearomizer and that is doing me well.Haven't had a cigar(small Hamlet type) since last week in March.Mixing my own and importing a few things to sell off which has paid for vaping so far.If i sell the next batch on then i will make a few bob as well. This on top of the £20 a week i used to spend on cigars.Although i have saved, don't ask me where it's gone, lol.
Got the Mrs down to 10 fags a day(od'ing on Vape as well) from 30 as well so saving a bit there,IF she keeps it up.

Think about when you first started smoking analogs. Did you try one brand and solely stick with them or did you try a few different ones until you found one you liked? I look at e-cigs the same way. It may take a while to find the right one but in the end you will end up saving money, and more importantly, your health. One thing i can say, and i've seen this mistake with a lot of new vapors, is that they try the flavored juices instead of sticking with a tobacco flavor (i.e. menthol). Just my .02 but sticking with a tobacco flavor helps a lot more than starting with a sweet flavor juice.

So true. If one were to buy the LT when it first came out I believe the price was $120'ish...now can be purchased for about $55.00. Clearos, I waited until they had the issues resolved and, again, waited for the price drop.

Yeah I've been meaning to do that. I usually know right where what I want is, since I've usually been looking at it for some time and waiting until budget allows for it ... so I take advantage of the various short cuts to get where I need to go. But yeah I wanna look aorund for some of the cool stuff that could work for vaping. But then my break even goes up. :p

So, I did break even ... for about 24 hours. Did a resupply order on a couple of my favorite juices, and ordered 2 packs of CE3s. But as you can see by the math below, I'm not that far out again. Break even happened Friday, ordering happened over the weekend. I'll break even again by the following weekend. 10 CE3s and another 60ml of juice ... I'll be good for a bit. I'm dialing in to about 4 or 5 juices that I vape the most. No ADV tho. But I don't particularly want an ADV. I like variety. I will probably stick with these 4 or 5 as stuff I order from vendors, and then maybe play some DIY to get the greater variety I like. Thankfully it's only 2 vendors, so I'm not killing myself on S&H.

It's not the vaping that takes a lot of money, it's the learning!

You seem to be past that point and can start saving money whenever you decide to. The savings are there. It's up to you to hang on to them or throw them away.

    Either way, Relax, Enjoy!

Not to thread jack, bit P3 as in the Orion? Nice plane. I don't know a lot about it, but always liked its lines. And it has the same Alisons my favorite used to have. (The Herc)

    Still off topic:

The Canadian P3 is called the Aurora. Although the Herc and P3 have the same engines (different props) , they are mounted 180 degrees different. The Herc has the air intake on the bottom and the P3 has it on top. It's neat how they can do that since the oil and fuel systems are closed and pressurized and the entire engine can be rotated up side down. It's a matter of which one is up side down?

Now that you mention that, I remember it. And I know why also. Or at least the reason my dad told me. P-3 was designed for maritime use. Putting the intake on top helped reduce the potential water intake if they had to go low. Granted, the Herc has seen her share of low and slow over the water.

My dad is retired USAF and after that retired civil service "Air Force Engineering and Technical Services" His latter years in the USAF were with the Herc, and his AFETS was all Herc. As a milbrat, I had a blast climbing all over those things. Always listened when he would talk about them. Don't always remember the terminology or tech exactly right, but always a blast. And had a great time with Scouts Canada the last year that CAF really had a presence in Europe. Intercamp 1994 in Czech.
