I really don't need one. The Loki makes my Protanks and the Hypertanks perform as I want them to. I didn't expect it to do anything other than even out the looks....lol

It's interesting, with my carto tanks (IBTanked and Loki) I can't use either the Loki Labs or the Tatroe rings to alter the airflow at all. The rings "float" between the top of the Provari and the bottom of the tank. There's no tension that I could adjust. I haven't used a Protank or the Hypertank on the Provari, but I would guess that perhaps the difference lies in the slight "rise" or "lift" that the cartomizer gives to the tank off the top of the Provari, that perhaps isn't present with the glassomizers?

When I saw that the Hypertank holds 5mls I was like

I thought my XL from IBTanked held too much liquid at 4.5ml. I know that's fairly subjective, though, as I like to change flavors several times a day. Filling the larger tanks also makes me panicky about running out of juice, since filling one really puts a dent in the bottle! I suppose for someone who vapes one flavor all day (and has a large quantity of that flavor on hand) these large tanks are a blessing.

I wish they were smaller too, like 3.5 ml or something, BUT..they look so cool!!!! It's like I must have one and check it out just because of how they look! LOLOLOL pathetic, I know.

I also change out flavors a lot so my thought was just not filling it up and hoping it still works ok.

I haven't tried it with a carto and I doubt it would help. The Hypertanks and the Protanks have the same sort of bottom, though. The Protank is way too airy for my taste but the Loki ring blocks off enough of the airflow to make them perform better. I didn't think the Hypertanks were too airy but found they benefitted from a little tightening down on the draw. The ring itself merely blocks the flow. It's not for adjusting like the Hippo. It's just meant to look pretty. I'm pretty sure it was just an unintended benefit.

It does. It works all the way down to the bottom, unlike a Protank. I've only filled one all the way full once, when I was going to spend a lot of hours at the casino.

I agree, the Hypertanks do look cool. And, at least for my part, I don't think going for a good-looking setup is pathetic at all! I bought my first devices (eRoll and eCab) because I liked the way they looked. I still love the sleekness and the red color of my eCab. But I'll admit that now that I mainly use my Provaris, my eRoll just looks so...puny.

Good job AngiBe, your mini looks great! Bummer about the batteries. Anticipation can be both good and bad! :p I just ordered my second mini today, also a satin. My first is a polished stainless. I like how the stainless extension cap looks on the satin in your pic. I have the same cap and am now feeling confident my set up will be looking nice. Hope your batteries show up super quick so you can experience the mini in *all* it's glory!

Congrats! I would love to know how you like the Aurora tank. I have been eyeing them but haven't ordered one yet.

LOLOL!! I should! But I don't even have the batts yet! But I do have 4 new tanks to try out! Quite diff than the Trition and pretty pathetic I'm having to learn how to fill them since all I knew was top coil! I'm super excited to try the Aurora. I'm afraid, however, if I love it, I might start venturing into bottom feeder mods.

I am waiting for her to actually experience it. There is nothing quite like the ecstasy of suffering abated. ;)

HHMMM, tried it ;)

As far as the Aurora tank, it takes practice squanking it without flooding it. Also, rinse out the little plastic tank before use. I didn't because I was too excited to try it. I got a little bit of plastic taste. But so far, I think this thing can work pretty good. Nice vapor and aside of the tad plastic taste, the flavor is pretty decent too!

Thx and it was! Now is the hunt for the best juice delivery system. ProTanks, not impressed. very airy, lacks flavor big time and too cool of a vape for my taste. IClear 30, slightly better. Aurora BFT, still playing with it. This could work, but getting a plastic taste. But could be my fault because I didn't clean out the tank before using. Reading up on right now carto tanks but my head is spinning. LOLOL.

The ProVari itself..wow, heck of a piece of machinery!! It's just so well built, easy to use and very comfortable holding it. I'm extremely impressed! Now back to the damn juice delivery system. Gonna drive me mad! The Halo Kanger a like clearos, believe it or not, had great taste, warm vapes and very few issues or playing around needed.

I need to find something for the ProVari that's similar in results so time to buy and try.

I think I saw that you were talking to the lion abort rba's, and I do have one, I don't know if you are interested or not, you might want to try one of the less pricey one's like he has first, but I went the other route, and bought a Kayfun lite. I love it it took me a while, to get it wicking correctly, but wow it is a fog machine, if I had the cash I would get a few more, or something like it, mabe a clone of it, would be cheaper.

@ AngiBe, I think our tastes are a bit alike. The Protank gives a lot of dry hits for me (tried all the tricks) and only a very diminished, sort of downer, mechanical flavor for the juices that do work. Haven't tried the iClear. Tried the new Aspire, and got the most bizarre tastes in the world, like oil and salt. I hope you can get the taste oddity figured out with the Aurora because I really want to try one, I really want a lot of control with the wicking. And thanks for the Halo Clearomizer recommendation, I've been looking for a good clearo, and I'm psyched that Halo sells 3.0-3.2 ohm heads for theirs - they also look proprietary, I'm not sure I've ever seen a clearomizer designed like the Halo, so maybe they have really good production standards compared to the brands that seem so widely cloned. I dunno if I've ever even heard of anyone mention the Halo until now, maybe that's a really good sign.

I have 3 of the Aspires.. Hands-down the best clearo tanks I've used. Almost up to par with my high-end RBAs. I heard that the original design heads which have 4 holes instead of the latest 2 aren't as good. The flavored juices I use taste as they're supposed to.

One thing.. The Aspires are dual-coil. I turn the voltage down to 3.4-3.5 with the 1.8 ohm to get the best flavor. I also prime them before filling. I would imagine running in a higher voltage range would make some juices taste kinda funky..

I didn't get dry hits w/the ProTank, just zero flavor. I did crank the volts and the flavor came out a little more but soon started to taste burnt. I think I'm going to save the ProTank for unflavored juices.

As far as the Aurora, I'm going to buy an open bottom Stingray 510 atty. I think the Aurora has a lot of promise and maybe give me a mini training into bottom feeders w/out the 100% commitment (Plus I just got my Provari and just want to play away!!!!) but I think the hardware that comes with it is just "cheap" and throwing off the flavor, IMO. If the Stingray doesn't work, the Aurora will be trashed for me.

Carto tanks thus far have given me the best vape on my ProVari and I just ordered two IBtanked and hunting now for prepunched 1.7 ohm carts since IBtanked were out.

As far as Halo gear, yes it is proprietary stuff which is good and bad. I couldn't try other set ups and even adapters were hits and misses, mostly misses. This is why Im so green on new stuff right now.

Their clearos are basically Kanger a likes but, for some reason, w/out all the issues of normal Kangers. The Triton tank is top coil, NEVER leaked on me, very warm vape and great flavor. For a clearo, IMO it worked awesome and I still use them every day on my Triton VV. I have 6 Halo batts..not one issue w/any of them.

But my biggest issue is I want to try flavors as they steep w/out filling a tank. I want a dripping atty bad. That is my next search.
