Scavenger Vapers

Anyone have any non-vapers in there circle that bum vapes off you or ask to borrow your gear, etc?

I have a friend (ex-smoker) who doesn't vape, but loves to bum vapes everytime they're around me or my Dad. I've sent them links to vendors for gear and juice to get them going, but they always say, "Aw naw, that's okay. I'm really not interested in getting another habit started."

I think it's hilarious! Especially when they say it after taking a big pull off of one of my mods! My father directly asked them, "Why don't you just buy an eGo, some clearos, and some juice?" Their response was, "That's okay...I'll just use yours." That's rich...

A guy at my work, who I converted, likes a juice I have and saw it on my desk one day and said, "Oh hey is that that juice I liked? Daaaaang! I'm going to have to come back later with my tank and fill it up."

Scavengers I tell ya! They're everywhere in the world! Apparently in my vape world too

HAHA! I got this from a friend as well. He has a little rechargeable cig-a-like and his carto was empty one day... I offered to fill it up, and now I get asked what flavors I have on me. ...yes, I did say juice was cheap and I have a lot, but that does not mean I want to give you my supply!! that's what the list of vendors was for!! lol! I love when people ask to bum a smoke though, don't got 'em anymore!

I was walking to my car puffing on my white colored cig-a-like and a guy asked if he could bum a smoke off of me. I said, "Sorry man I don't have any cigarettes. This one is electronic. It's not a real cig." About 5 seconds lapsed lol....he either didn't understand or didn't know what to say.

I love when people try to ask me for a smoke, its like the blue light doesnt even phase them. I have one friend who is a light smoker, who visits me, and doesnt bring his smokes to he can bum ecigs off me. Since i tend to have 4 or 5 batts laying around its not really an issue, id rather him join me in vaping indoors than go out in this cold and stand there while he smokes. Plus smokers stink ;p

Change your banter to, "Well Jim, while I don't mind sharing, I have only budgeted enough for my habit. If I have to support yours too I will never be able to buy that new car will all of the money I'm saving by not smoking."

yes! my daughters boyfriend is the biggest Scavenger vaper i have ever seen,
they were both smokers she decided to buy and ego kit after me cutting her and him off my supply i didnt mind providing for her but he would suck up all the juice and break the equipment so i said enough and stopped it.

well anyways she bought a ego kit that came with two CE5's and two ego battery's needless to say she gave him one....sucked up all her ejuice and broke one battery within the first week,so she let him use hers broke it to but i was able to repair that one.

i bought her a lavatube for Christmas and told her it was her not him...well it was broken in under a week. the 510 was pulled right out of the top i was able to solder it back in luckily but haven't seen her with it since im assuming he broke it again and she just didnt want to tell me after all the crap i gave her about him using all her stuff and not spending a single $ on anything for it yet.

it has been over 4 months that he has quit smoking using ecigs now and still has not spent a single dollar on any of it. honestly i am very disappointed in her for letting him do this to her she works full time and has held the same job for along time and pays for all his "habits" they have been together for over a year and a half and he has had about 5 jobs given to him and has probably worked a total of 10 days the whole time and lost every job in under a week.

if Scavenging was a profession he would be rich lol.

That's another kind of vaper that frustrates me... the kind who handles their gear like a two-year-old in a playpen. Running dual coils at 4.8 on Twists constantly, cranking their batteries up to 6 volts and wondering why everything sucks. Dropping them constantly, banging them on stuff, dropping them in water. I know quite a few vapers who go through three or four egos, and wonder why they suck...

Well, duh, stop handling it like Batman against a supervillain and maybe treat it a little more gingerly. It's electronic, for gad's sake.

I notice a lot of these people aren't... well... that well grooming, either, or don't take care of themselves very well, either, for that matter. So it goes...

My friends when were drinking all want to get a piece of my vapor.

But none of them own their gear (only one smokes and he has 0 interest in PVs) so can't necessarily bum stuff.

Did order a buddy a CVI v1 though so I'll have another vaper among me. Probably going to hook him up with some of my DIY liquid to get him started.

I rarely go out, but when I do, everyone novels at my contraption. It gets passed around like the Bug. I've since gathered a collection of rubber drip tip covers I keep color coded. No, seriously. I'm not swappin' spit with the likes of these rogues.

That is a good idea. Last time I was at the bar all of a sudden there was a curious circle wanting to give it a test.

Then the bartender screeched to stop smoking in the bar, until she recognized what it was.

I thought the one was going to jump over the bar and rip my throat out with the dagger eyes she was giving.

I was just asking my husband last night how the "Can I bum a cigarette?" would translate in the vaper world. So I guess now its, "Can I bum a vape?" or "Got any juice you can spare?"

My favorite incident like this is one time someone asked me to bum a smoke and I said I switched to this and showed her my eGo. Her face sunk, and she said, "That's not a cigarette. Wanna start smoking again? We could go halves a pack."
