Screen names: How did you come up with yours?

Oh, might as well pile in ;)

A few years back I was looking for unique domain names to setup a new web site. Since I wasn't very clever at finding new stuff, I wrote a Python program that took random worlds out of massive word lists and check to see if the domains existed.

One of the names that popped up was idlethreat. Thought it was amusing enough to buy the domain name, and to make it my handle for websites as well.

Can't find that program anymore, but still enjoy the domains that I found.

I've been using Johnny Vox for a few years now. I decided on "Johnny" because I'm into music and movies from the 1950's, and Johnny just seemed like an over-popular name in iconic songs and movies from that era. "Vox" was a random word I thought of that sounded awesome with Johnny, and was used as an abreviation for "vocals" in some CD inserts. I later found out it is also a company that makes guitar amplifiers. Since I play guitar and sing, it seemed fitting.

As for my avatar, that's a picture of me about half an hour before I got married. The hat and cane were purchased, but my mother, a professional seamstress, made my suit based on a design of an 1830's style suit with a frock coat.

back in the days of AOL i was sitting on the train saying damn i need a original name. Started pretty much zoning out to word combinations and thought of traumatized but then i thought no its not original. Then i thought of the john lennon song instant karma and it hit me. Karmatized. Since then i have pretty much tried my damnedest to lock that name down on the internet.

if you see that name in a online game, its most likely me.

I like that, trukinlady!

Mine was my nickname in college because I worked at this little tiny cafe that sold espressos and fancy coffees decades before there were StarBucks, etc. I was ALWAYS rushing around making cappuccinos and other types of "fancy" coffees on this huge espresso machine the owner had imported from Spain (quite unusual in Wisconsin 30 years ago LOL), and hence my name, with the "a" on the end because I'm a girl....:D

I love good coffee. And I've got a thing for Barista's, apparently. The last 2 ladies I've been with were both Baristas.

Hopefully you can tell from my Avitar (which really is my pic on Jeanne D'Arc's armour) that people who STAND for what's right, usually get burnt in the end. We are definitely going to have a HUGE BATTLE ahead of us for the RIGHT TO VAPE against Big Tobacco, the FDA, Big Pharma, the AMA, and all of the dirty rotten politicians who take money from these HUGE lobbyists!!! Not to mention bankrupt states like California who rely on CIAGARETTE DEATH TAXES! Viktro is a loving nickname given to me by young warriors.

Mine stems from the old Windows days when everyones userID was generated using 5,1,1. Since I have a couple of hundred accounts on systems everywhere, at least this way I can remember my username, and it's almost never taken.

I typed my name in the anagram scrambler site and got:

Rajahs Defamed Vices

I love it!
