The google conversion rates are updated very often, I would say hourly, if not continuously

99.99 eur to usd - Google Search

For easy use, you should bookmark that link :)

Theres countless other currency converters, Iv tried several and all are showing exactly the same as google's.

Yup . . . but PayPal seems to have its own rate. I've yet to get anything close to what those sites list for conversion. (And given how weak the USD is, the exchange rate offered by PayPal just doesn't seem very USD friendly.)

Thanks for clarifying.
Pillbox, I hope you dont think Im accusing you of anything like bad business practices, because thats certainly not the case.

In fact, I would be more than happy to pay a little extra if you DID decide to mark up, for the simple fact that your 1 state over, and I dont mind paying for that kind of convenience.
It sounds to me that you are charging EXACTLY what you payed for the kits, which to me seems unreasonable, I dont get how you WOULDNT charge more.
Not that Im complaining about that either:p

Keep up the good work, I look forward to the time I can buy off you.

Thanks for the quick replies.
Looks like Ill be saving up for a bit :p

So this conversion tells me Im going to need $141 for it, plus ~$15 more for shipping..
XE.com - UCC Error

So, is it worth it?
Would you wager its at least 3x better than the typical ~$50 DSE901?

More like 10x better. 6-8 hours of battery life; consistent throat hit; batteries that cost $2 instead of $20. Just with the cost of the batteries alone you will save money in the long run. And at least for me, since I have been using the SD (3 months), I haven't had one atomizer go bad. And then there is the unknow price savings of little hassle vaping instead of big hassle vaping.:)

Rexa the dollars has weakened significantly in the last two weeks from approx £1 uk pound = $1.45, to now being £1= $1.60

Two weeks ago the Sd would have been $145 plus $6.99 shipping..

I will stick to my promise and adjust the Price each week according to Exchange rate variations..:0)

lol too bad for me I guess but I would've probably spent another few hundred on wasted parts if I hadn't gotten it a month ago. I have no regrets :) I'm sure no one else will either after they get one.

You are 100% right, Rexa. I'm always amazed that some people would rather vape a marginal PV because of looks.

Neither here nor there
I think the SD is a good-looking machine. It's nice and hefty, and it is a LOT smaller than you'd guess. I have the stainless, and it's a lovely sight to behold.

As far as unprotected batteries vs protected, there are users here who use protected batteries. Yes, they are a tad longer than the ones in the SD kit, but there is some room for than because the threading on the SD is pretty long. I haven't counted, but there are multiple turns required to seat the top onto the battery case.

Hmmmmm. Do you know Trog's reasoning by any chance of why he uses the unprotected ones? Is there a reason why he went that route? So you COULD buy protected ones and they would fit?

The unprotected batteries are a perfect fit. I don't know if that's Trog's reason for using them instead of the protected ones, or not.

However, Trog is adamant that they are safe to use by anyone with common sense. The charger protects them against overcharging, and they become drained beyond function before they are drained to a dangerous point.

He wouldn't want his customers blown up, of course.

They are what he uses himself, and he designed the SD for his own needs.

People have replaced the unprotected with the protected, with good results.

I use the batteries provided in the kit, if you're wondering.
