Krythis, seems that 5 ohm is really high. If your using 32awg Kenthal your coil wire would be a little over 3inch. I can't tell from the picture however, is it possible your Positive lead wire (Red) is slightly touching your mesh?

I now have 5 wraps at 1.9ohm and it's working much better. I checked it with for continuity and I do have some connection to the wick but it's around 80-90 ohm, is this an issue?

Great news Krythis, when your tank empties. pull the wick back up. Dab it on a paper towel to remove left over juice and slide the coil down a bit. Drip some pg/vg on the oxidized spot of mesh and light it, it will burn off and should get that spot to glow. Cool it with a few more drops and repeat 3-4 times. Check it then with the meter and you should be good. I do this everytime. It appears to me that the oxidation is not 100% after some use it comes back slightly. Just my 2cents.

Was there an estimate on cost yet? I remember the first threat guestimate of $40.... but things have changed somewhat.

Last estimate was 68.25 that is with everything including shipping (in the US). I changed some of the tooling making it a bit more complicated and added in the extra tank and cover for 5ml and the T-Tank Adapter. Getting close

I am in for 2 also (when the time comes). I have been having problems with my G-tank and look forward to a much more solid bottom positive connection offered by the US G-Tank. Thanks Dan. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
