The mini g is a b to make lol, hopefully I can get in on one. Thing looks sweet. I have a question, how does it not leak? I just cannot grasp how that works.

LOL I know right, the threading was a PITA!

It is gravity fed and works off of a vacuum pressure that is created in the tank, when you inhale neg air pressure overcomes the pressure in the tank and draws fluid out. When you stop inhaling the neg air pressure stops, now since the pressure in the tank is now greater that the ambient air pressure it draws air in and equalizes until the process is repeated.

Like turning a one liter bottle upside down, liquid wont come out unless air is allowed in to replace the liquid escaping from the bottle. Capice?

What happened to the unit that was going to be made with Pyrex that was going to allow vaping of banana and cinnamon?

Havent heard from the company that was quoting it. And then I got going on the G-Tank-US, and then other side projects has had me distracted. The G-Tank-US will be able to use bana and cinn in it. I have not dropped DSUv6, it is just on the back burner as I am only running one co-op at a time :)

Could you please post a photo of the G-Tank on an Ego battery? If you have one. That would be great

I am still a newb when it comes to these DIY attys but signed up for the G-tank pre-list, thanks Dan.

Does anyone know if there are G-tank assembly instructions earlier in this thread as I am still catching up or if those will come out if a co-op gets approved?

I really like the Scubagen design but I am terrible when it comes to assembly with tools like a soldering iron and almost was able to buy one from the classies from PKZap but just missed it, so very excited the G-tank doesn't require soldering.

Thanks

Thanks for the update Dan!

On the prelist, I see that the unit will come with a 3ml tank and a 5ml tank. Are these tanks just 3ml and 5ml bottles that have the tops cut off?

Thanks!

Led, no they are SS tanks and professionally machined. I believe I heard you can use cutoff 5ml syringes to for a transparent tank also.

asdaq is correct, both tanks are all stainless steel. I did find that the 6ml syringe has a .5 diameter and will work as a tank for those that want to see the juice. I would not recommend them for bana or cinn, I would stick to the SS tanks.

Ahh, that is indeed a 6ml bottle. I rather forgot about that. Somehow that doesn't seem as stable as a syringe. I'm pretty sure otrem was on to a 5ml syringe solution. If one could be found that fit just right off the shelf glass or pyrex would be quite nice, say a vial or perfume tester or somesuch. If it fit just right it would be very hard to break as it would only have direct contact with the o-ring it is suspended on and be surrounded by SS armor.

...also want to make sure I understand things right , before I get one!

I have (2) 18650 ePowers: a 3.7V (unregulated, so starts at 4.17 w/ my charger) and also 5V (regulated).

If I use more or less turns on a coil on the G-Tank-US, can I raise the 3.7V to approx 4.8V-5V or only 4.17 and lower?

Also, has anyone ever ran a separate co-op on the metal sheets used for wicks so that we don't get a lifetime supply with just one order? (No I have not priced them yet!)

I thought that I saw Dan using an eGo with one...was it just to show how it looks?

Nope I use my ego with my original G-Tank and can use it with the G-Tanks-US. The problems lexi is talking about is that if the coil is not correct (shorts) the ego will fail, there have been people with this issue with the original G-Tank. I have not had this issue. But lexi is right, the more hit you want the lower the resistance. Everyone has to find there own balance. Mine is 1.8ohms at 3.8vdc.
