OK, thank you for the photo with the Ego. The size is similar to the Genesis LV. So the main advantage of the G-Tank for me over the GLV, the size, isn't there anymore. So I'm using me GLVs and waiting for a small alternative.

No problem, Here is a size comparision of some different atties...
From the left...

DSUv6, G_Tank-US, G-Tank, Micro-G, BFG (In progress), and an EGO B T-Tank
IMG_0828.jpg

The only differance between LV Genisis, and G-Tank-US is you have 3 different tank options, 3ml, 5ml, or T-Tank. and the 3 & 5ml tanks are SS not glass bottles.
Hope this helps,
Dan

BTW no questions on BFG, I am still working on it.

Hi Dan,
From the list of parts for the G tank US I see you have a PTFE (Teflon) spacer that I assume is for the brass center pin, also nylon washer, spacer and screw. Should I understand that the insulation for one contact screw is made of Nylon? If so how resistant to high temperature is it? What is the nylon screw for? Also is the mesh going into the SS tank through a SS tube or insulated one. I apologize for all this questions but I am quite new to the forum and trying to catch up.
Thank you, Michael

The nylon spacer is for the brass electrical connection, as is the two washers. The nylon screw is for the pos post isolation that the pos post screws through to get to the tapped brass plate. The PTFE tubing is for the lower set hole the SS sits in and the upper hole where it enters the SS tank.

That help?

Thank you. So the pos post which is very hot goes through the nylon screw. How does the nylon withstand the high temperature? Also how do you fill the ss tanks? Is it any top access hole or one has to remove it and use the mesh hole for filling.
I know you do not have time for a full sketch or rendering, but from your explanations I hope to get a better image.

The tank is held on with an O-ring. so you unscrew the cover then just turn the unit upside down and pull the tank off. fill the open end. press it back on and flip right side up... screw the cover back on.

Drawings and pictures are located further down in the thread that give good views of the setup.
