You may need to drill a 1/32" hole to direct airflow over the coil. But it does taste nasty until seasoned.

Where would i put this hole? I figured enough air is coming through the center where the pos wire runs up.

Also i dripped directly on it and the coils didnt glow and when i took a pull it tasted good. So i guess its a wicking issue. I'm lost on how i would fix a wicking issue if theres no kinks... Weird

Can you post a picture of the wick and coil?

ok here is an idea to think on when brighter minds have some free think time -
i want to make one up like the little mini dan designed only i want it to be small enough for and designed so it can work an auto stick battery.
any ideas?

Only way is to remove the air hole in the side and create and airhole in the bottom connecter. But you would have to create a raised tube in the conbustion chamber so it would not flood into the battery connection. Not easy is such a small space.

um needles came to mind since there prolly wouldnt be room for screw connections if the coil attached to the needle outside the inside could be utlized for airflow from underneath somehow... thinking like gtank with vented screws only you would have to find a way to direct the vent at the coil....
