i just spent 3 hrs on putting this together, them washers, springs and tube is a mother humpper to get. once i got the washers and spring on nail,soldered wire and tubeonto nail end , spring has copression, lookes good, tried to slide kanthal in between,,, washers slid over the spring, arg!..got to redue tomorrow..................
Where dan has us putting the wire & post together into that hole, it's like trying to squeeze 10lbs into a 5 gal can, I have been trying to make that piece if sh t work and its worthless for a fitting, and Now I am going to tap that and put a threaded piece in there and have two nuts on a post instead
The connector on the bottom and the pen sleeves are very simple, next step of putting the nail/spring/washers into the sleeve of the carto with the wire is crazy, this is the hole I would like to tap and thread so I can just thread a bolt right down into it, what do you think on this PKZ
BTW, my husband went to make my 2nd gen today & said that all of the 510 clearomizer connections were too loose. I told him that ya'll were saying sort of the same things........... The one I found that worked is one of the latest editions, only 2 thick wicks, with ceramic cup. I wish I would have kept the box so I could have told ya where it's from & exact edition.

You CANT tap the hole where the wire will be.....if you do it will short out. The body is negative, with the wire attatched the post is positive.....

At my house videotaping wouldn't be good..........we laugh, joke, I blow vape in my husband's face. It would be a good video, probably not the most instructional though.
Ok well you could if you drill a hole and rig something like this in the hole would have to find one that fits the hole snug and cut the tip but would provide protection from short......Imho would not do it to mine lol.....Thats if you mean the + term?????

I did the positive terminal the way Dan shows in the tutorial.
I broke the wire on my first try.
I was able to get the positive terminal done on my second try.

As far as the main body o-rings go...
I worked the o-rings into the groves as even as possible at first.
I then lubed them up good with some VG.
I then worked the tubing on while pressing the o-rings into the groves evenly.
