@nick i get all my syringes from Orschelns its like a farm store. hanging on a board in the animal care section. nobody ever even looks twice and i have bought lots of them there. if you cant find something pm me
I have one of those torch kits and am just getting used to it for soldering. I'm liking it more as time goes by....
Again!
I'm using a "Spring Pin" to secure the negative terminal to the Scunagen body.
I had to grind down one end of the Spring Pin at least 3/32" or 0.09375".
I pressed the side of the the spring pin that I didn't grind into the negative hole on the Scubagen.
I tinned the inside of the sping pin and then tinned the nail.
I pressed the nail into the sping pin while applying a little heat to melt the solder.
Once the solder started to melted and the nail slid into the spring pin I removed the heat and had to hold tension on the nail to ensure that the spring remained slightly compressed untill the solder hardend.
I show a piece of 32 AWG Kanthal secured to the negative post.
Please note:![]()
The spring in this picture was compressed to tight and I had to loosen it up.
yes ideal instruments 20 ml fits perfect

for those using copper wire or other copper components make sure to cover the exposed copper with silver solder...copper, juice, and electricity and then vaping the results could go very badly...I used silver wire...just to be on the safe side...My lungs and nervous system are wonky enough...lol
Wow, this might be a great idea for our cinnamon juice fan, at least until cutting pyrex is figured out!
oooohhhhh... I lub ewe guys. thanks for the note!! I'll hunt one up today
You used silver wire, I am assuming you made some insulation for it with shrinkwrap perhaps?

yea i get mine a Orscheln farm supplies store. 20ml and it does not matter this one time if its luer lock or slip i have both and in this size they are the same id. got to make sure you bevel the edge a little and i made the bottom tube a tiny bit short to give the top extra stability since the plastic is thinner.I get Ideal brand syringes at Tractor Supply, meant to mention that earlier.

for those who do not know...look here...but there are lung toxicity effects involving oxidized copper...
