LOL, what do I have to do a-n-o-t-h-e-r video on how to melt pyrex!!! hehehehe
Dan

I'd settle for the written word right now. lol But if I have to do it one day I think it will take more than a video for me to do that! But if want to make one, I'll watch in awe....:)

are we blowing glass now.?

No, fire polshing and streching pyrex.

Both pieces (inner and outer tubes) made from pyrex tubing:

Ok here is what I got done last night, new inner tube made out of pyrex. It fits like a glove :)

Just need to make the external tube, hopfully tonight. Have a football game to go to that my daughter is cheering in.

Wow, that looks awesome. A little shorter might be nicer, but it does look very impressive. Great job Dan:)

Vaping on it as we speak, very clean taste. Hey, I can try cinnamon now :) LOL
Hey is this the first all pyrex SS rebuildable atty?
If so YAY me!
Dan

Not the first Pyrex tank, but YES, it is in fact the first Pyrex rebuildable! History has been made this night. Congratz! I am amazed. Wish I had your skills...and tools :p

now i need some kiln. (?) lol this modding take us..

Nope I am trying to get the pyrex pieces premade so it all comes together in the "kit"

+1 on the shorter version.

Dan, that looks amazing! How sturdy does it feel? Any wiggling? Not trying to ask a dumb question....but how tough is the Pyrex for daily use?

I would have to say that the pyrex is more delicate than the poly tubing, no wiggle but the dimensions have to be almost perfect. To tight and the pyrex will crack, to loose and it will leak or come loose. Dropping it on a tile floor or concrete will most likely result in a crack. So unless your vaping cinn or bannana I would probably go with poly tubing IMHO.

What's the chances of a different design for the posts? Threaded insert for the positive post for insulating the connection, and a tapped hole for the negative?

Of course, I am asking this without seeing the design so I may have missed this info. Just thinking it would be easier for the modding challenged folks that get involved and would raise the success rate a little.
