have a link to where to get those spacers or what they are so I can source them locally...

I bolded the text for the shoulder spacers used for the wick holes.

There are no kinks in my mesh as far as I know (I will check for that). Using the 400 or fine mesh that Zap makes all of the wicks from. I use 30vg 70pg. Leaked juice was pink spot, and they have a proprietary mix...but i think is around 30/70.

Thanks for your help!

I didn't have much luck with 70/30 myself, but I think my wick was also loose then. I switched to 80/20 which seems to work for most. Only time I've had a dry wick since is when it was out in 45deg weather.

I don't suppose anyone here is handy with the emachineshop app? I have been trying for about every free second to get this put in there, and I just can't seem to wrap my head around the program.

You won't be able to import a pdf into emachine shop. You will either need to draw it in yourself or request the file from Dan directly.

Draw the object in the front view, the group it, and select revolve. You only draw half of the object.

It looks like I drew it on both sides, but the one on the left is just a mirror of the one on the right. It was grouped, and then I right click and choose comments to myself. So it ignores it as an object. But I can see what the layout will look like. Same for the measurements, all selected as comments to myself.

Man did I ever screw up this morning... Had to bring my wife to the airport at 0330 this morning... Brought along my SS GGTS with a V3 on it... I got lazy and did not set the safety on the button so it would not accidently fire and put it in the center console where drinks usually go, next to a soda bottle and for got about it. 45 minutes later as I am leaving the airport I feel like vaping. I pick the unit out of the console and immediately feel that it is very hot. When I got to work I see that one of the coils got so hot that I melted the Polycarb on one side of the upper chamber. I was using CR123As (new) and they were spent.
The Good News... All I had to do was replace the polycarb and clean up the wick and coils... The 32Ga. nichrome and the silver connector did not fail. Incredible! SO the moral to the story is safety
1st... I should have set the safety nut to protect the unit from accidental firing.

say if it melted the poly it prolly also melted the insulators going through the body to the wick. i have had this happen before when testing where the bick pen tubes melt to wick if it gets too hot or not enough juice ect. had to replace it all since i couldn't get the tube loose from the wick and it pulled out of the body... gotta get some of those shoulder spacers lol

My spares for ScubagenV3 is on the way from Jimho. I will give it one last try to assemble it. If I still face problems, I intend to cut off the center post and it becomes ss Torpedo Tank. Using the innards of clear ce2,no need to solder anything and it is cheaper than Torpedo Tank:laugh:

Or you can have someone build it for you...... and have a rebuildable atty

If you get it figured out and have some made, I would be up for a couple. The mini would come in handy at times...

Nope I use high temp shrink tubing instead of the standard bic tube. It didn't even 'phase' them... Lucky I guess. The coils sit a bit high on each wick anyway.

Well if I can anyone can.LOL Here are some pictures just to have a comparison in size to the dca and a drip shield wow so small great rebuildable atty. It bottoms feeds really well and I love that it is a great dripper atty as well. I will play with it some more and report back but so far win, win. WHOOHOO!!
