SD with the switch where I want it!

i have told you all what it is anyway.. its a screwdriver copy.. priced at screwdriver levels.. rides on the screwdriver name we created in germany..
the screwdriver was selling well in germany.. this guys sees that and comes up with his own version.. its a screwdriver for the germans.. none of what it is.. is by accident..
we created the idea.. the look and feel.. the price and market... the copies are now appearing.. we dont mind the big battery idea being taken up.. we do think some like this one are simply ripping off someones elses design and in this case name..
we also have a chinese made clone that has appeared on a chinese wholesale site.. again a theft of our design and name.. and this one has bugger all to do with any torch.. its straight out of a chinese e cig factory.. which one as yet we dont know.. but its been ripped from our prototype..
either way romisen now make our parts directly for us.. there wont be any more nice silver torches for folks to have go at.. so the SD copy being talked about here aint gonna be around for long.. there wont be anything to make it from..

The manufacturers have a problem, over the name.
As far as knock offs go, can I purchase one of the "originals" with the switch here?:

Or should I just buy a flashlight modded battery pack with the switch where I don't want it because I don't want to appear to be "in very poor taste" and just live with it?

do as you like just dont call it a screwdriver and try and flog it commercially.. you will be in breach of international law if you do..

trog is it true? I noticed DE switched the picture to the black one. I build a few 510 Romisen mods for friends. I cannot get silver ones anymore? Could you sell me a few housings? Guess I am going to have to learn to like black.
As a consumer and this is just my opinion, it comes down to service. I don't know the manufacturer of the "knock off" and at the same time I don't know if I want to be the guinea pig of buying something that cost the same as the original (in US dollars), just to have something go wrong, and not be able to have the same type of service that Trog provides.
I understand if the product is not exactly how you want it, but at the same time would you want to experiment with your hard earned dollars and take the chance that it might not work properly and go through more head aches?

Design your own case from scratch, and then it is your design. Fact is, you made a basic battery pack mod in a pre-existing flashlight housing. That is in itself a knock off of pre-existing mods. Its cool that you had the gumption to market it, however after reviewing all of the facts and dates of pre existing battery mods your design does not warrant any kind of special treatment. I think it would be in your best interest to get creative perhaps and design your own case instead of using a pre existing flashlight case. Thats just ghetto and in poor taste to treat other people badly for stealing an idea that you yourself got from another source.
Go get em yvilla your better at it than me. Make sure they understand that the switch is in the correct place. Cause it IS!

the SD was an entirely original design concept.. not a copy of anything sooo evilfezdog you are full of sh-t..
the first one appeared back in September of last year.. since then its sold to over 36 different countries and built up a pretty solid reputation as one of the worlds premier e smoking devices..
we created the device.. we created the market for such a advice.. we own the brand name.. we changed the e smoking world and intend to change it some more... we lead others follow..
we even created the market for such a device in germany.. without what we did this copy would not exist.. it now rides on the back of our efforts.. and brand name.. basically the makers and sellers are in breach of international law..
