I can't claim to one of 5 years just yet ;), but (as I mentioned elsewhere on this forum recently) hubby is using one (a palisander as well, by the way) that is over a year old and he swears by it !

I have had to do some maintenance during this life of the atomiser, in the form of 'burning off' using a USB with manual switch (heating it up very hot to burn off any 'crud' till it starts performing well again), but it did the job nicely and hubby has been happily vaping away with it again for quite some time now.

My experience is that I have had very few actual failures (completely cold) with Sedansa atomisers compared to others, although like most/all, after a while performance usually will become less. As with all other penstyle atomisers I've used over the past 16 months or so, sometimes 'burning off' helps, sometimes it doesn't.

By the way, I bought them from a Dutch Reseller who has always been very good about the warranty and replaced without questions. The price for these atomisers is indeed steep though and it is entirely a personal choice whether the warranty is worth it or not.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Silver

Thanks silver, very helpful friend!

You're welcome Imeo :).

Unfortunately I've never had the pleasure (yet ;) !) of trying one of your amazing devices, but I've tried to keep up with developments a bit and am intrigued by what I've seen so far. If not for my 'love affair' with the Mini Pipe, it may have been in my arsenal already, but who knows what the future may bring (do you ship to New Zealand by any chance :D ??), eh ?

Cheers,
Silver

 You make me laugh Imeo (I happen to like strange men :D) !

Good to know that you ship to New Zealand, I will certainly keep that in mind !

You are most welcome as our guest any time, no worries (as they say here 'Down Under' ;)), but New Zealand is really a country that is great to travel in rather than stay in one place, so much to see !

Most people hire a campervan and travel from the North of the North Island to the South of the South Island (or the other way around, but personally I prefer the former). Very useful also that you can arrive in Auckland (North Island) and depart again from Christchurch (South Island) for example.

Will you bring one of your wonderful devices for me to try then :p ??

Greece has always intrigued me as well, who knows, after all this Swine Flu business has died down a bit (I'm very susceptible due to my health you see) and I travel back to Europe for a while to see family and friends, I may visit you in Greece along the way...

I can imagine that the girls on the other forum make your head spin, they're really , aren't they (although they may not make you feel cool at all  ?) ?

Cheers,
Silver

I am strange man because I get mad with a person so I make the GG. Its a little crazy this, so maybe I am:lol:

When kids grow, I will travel for sure. I have already gone all over Greece, Italy, French. But the world is so big, I need time to see all of it.

You are very kind man Silver, I hope you come soon to our family and I hope soon to come to your beautiful country. Its like a dream for me those countries witch are far from me, like New Zealand, Japan, America, Australia. I remember that I was learning in school about those countries and they seemed soooooooo far from here.

Fortunately internet and GG make me come closer to you. All my friends here are really wonderful, I enjoy very much our company.

Conclusion. I will come to you. Maybe it will be after years but I will do it and I will find you smoking GG and we will laugh together like never before:)

Do you have to pay to get an atomizer replaced? Shipping costs or service charges? do they have both 901 and 801?

@Stormynights:
Certainly no service charges and usually no shipping charges either. However, I do have a very good relationship with this (really nice !)lady/Reseller (being a Dutch female as well and living on the other side of the planet seems to create a bond somehow ;), and we also 'know' each other from various Dutch vaping forums), sometimes I ordered some more products and we shared the shipping costs to ease the shipping 'pain' for both of us.

Of course I did pay the shipping costs in the instances I sent an atomiser back to her, but I haven't had to do that every time either. Sometimes some sellers take pity on me and make allowances since I literally live at the other end of the world :D ! (On a side note; I must say that Janty Europe has also been very good about that.)

Again though, this is all through a Reseller and not Sedansa themselves so I don't really know how they handle these issues. All I know from what I've read on various forums, is that they do honour the 5 year warranty, just not sure what their requirements are when it comes to sending back or any service charges (although I haven't read about them asking for any service charges or restocking fees so far).

Hope that helps.

@Imeo:
I am a lady you know  !

You are correct, the world is a lovely place and there are many wonderful places to visit. Although I originate from The Netherlands, I have been very fortunate that I lived in Asia (India and Indonesia) as a child and have now emigrated permanently to New Zealand.

I look forward to welcoming you and would be happy to help with any tips and suggestions about visiting our beautiful country. Doesn't matter when, we aren't going anywhere in a hurry ;) (love it way too much here to do that !)....

Who knows, inventing the GG may well make it possible for you to make all your travel dreams come true :thumb: ? I'll certainly keep my fingers and toes crossed that this is the case for you !

Cheers,
Silver

Silver, thank you so much for the answers. I am trying to make up my mind whether to buy a bunch of cheapos or buy these. I also need to know which is the 901 and which is the 801? There names just don't tell me anything. I don't think they have a 510. I am going to order something Monday. I just hope I make the right decision.

You're very welcome Stormynights, my pleasure :) !

I'm afraid I can't really help with your decision as it's very personal whether you want the long warranty or not. I do a bit of both, partly because I like the Sedansa carts, so if I'm ordering those anyway, I might throw in an atty or two as well. Not so much now though as I am currently in a 'love affair' with the RS-888 Mini Pipe ;) and like to buy original atty's for them (despite their problems).

The Diva and Omni atty's are 801's. Not sure about the 901's as I have never used a 901 myself, but you could always e-mail them to find out. I agree that they probably don't do 510's as that is a relatively new device and Sedansa's newest device is the Omni which uses the same 801 type atty's as the Diva/Classic, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

Again, it's a difficult choice. For me it would probably be easier if I were still living in The Netherlands (although I'm very very glad I don't anymore :D !), as shipping costs would be far cheaper and direct contact (by phone for instance) would also be a lot simpler.

Again, I am impressed with the quality of Sedansa products and can vouch for them honouring the warranty, but by the same token I have some great experiences with suppliers from China with far cheaper parts, albeit with less warranty. It really is a very personal choice.

Good luck !

Cheers,
Silver

I received my 801 Sedansa atomizer yesterday. I love this atomizer. To me the flavor of the juice is increased. I have been using it all afternoon.
I am very impressed with it,so far. I hope this lasts.:D

The only thing it makes the GG seem large. It is the big atomizer. I am used to the 901 atomizers. No big deal with this nice Winston e-liquid. Love the Johnson Creek Tenn Cured with this atomizer. Nice smokey flavor.

This is the atomizer that I have been searching for.:D
