Here is what I said:

I never claimed anything about sub ohming incidents.

The statement you are referring to is about incidents involving new vapers and not specifically about subohming.

Well, it is a thread about sub ohming, which would lead one to believe your post, in the sub ohm thread, is about, you know, sub ohming. Don't back peddle, homie.

Then he doesn't understand sub ohming. It seems most people don't. Even if people are chasing clouds, it's a hobby. How is that adolescent?

He already said he doesn't understand it in his comment. If he says it seems that chasing clouds is adolescent I don't really think he needs to justify why he thinks that. He didn't call you adolescent. He just said he thinks cloud chasing is. Perhaps you can point out how cloud chasing isn't an adolescent hobby.

I don't care if someone sub ohms or not. But seeing who can blow the biggest cloud IS a juvenile activity. If a 50 year old likes to do it that doesn't change the fact that it's a juvenile activity.

Just as juvenile as racing cars, playing sports or building trains. Hobby and competition isn't juvenile. Juvenile is calling people adolescents because you don't understand their hobby.

I agree with your main statement. However that one line you have by itself in the middle really does read like you're talking about sub ohm vaping specifically. I can see why B1sh0p drew that conclusion.

He didn't call you adolescent lol. No need to accuse him of saying what he didn't say.

There's been a public vaping and political thread today too. All we need is a Provari debate to make today whole.

What's a Provari?
Is that the regulated dinosaur that won't fire a sub-ohm coil? Are they worth it? Why are they so popular? Why does everyone recommend a Provari when someone asks about upgrading from an eGo? I have $50 to spend..... Should I get a Provari?
(I think I got most of the hot buttons in there)

Easy now. I'm just here for the fun.

OK just to be fair-
I'm a Reonaut and we are just as zealous about our devices as you Provari folks. I can appreciate your love for those silly tubes with clicky single buttons to navigate the entire menu and when you click too many times you have to start all over.....
Oh man there I go again.

Jjshbetz11 that had better not be a sub-ohm coil in that protank! Your battery will shoot that thing to the moon like a Saturn rocket!

Where are these sub ohming incidents that are going to double? The vast, vast majority of "incidents" are related to egos and pass thru's, not sub ohming.

Statistics.

Did you know that fewer people per year are attacked by sharks...than by cows? It's true.

It's not that the shark is less dangerous, quite the opposite, it's that humans on average encounter more cows per day.

So if there were ten million eGos and passthroughs and one thousand sub-ohm mechs, there may be 10 incidents per day with the eGo compared to 1 with the mech.

Which would, in this example, mean that the mech is one thousand times more dangerous. There are simply fewer of them.

Of course there aren't 11 issues a day, it's just an example of the logical fallacy.
