Not disagreeing with anything else in your post, but on a quick glance at least the numbers for the purple efest 18350 (assuming that's the new efest battery) seem to be wrong. According to the information I've seen they have a c-rating of 15, and can handle 10.5 amps (not sure if that's continuous or burst). In the one test I've seen they perform about the same as aw 18350s at 2, 3, and 5 amp draws (and certainly better than the red efests), and while that in itself doesn't say much about their amp limit they do perform better than the aws in a 10 amp burst test.
