And people don't have a sense of humor anymore because you make a joke and immediately they take "offense" when it is not directed at them or even mentioning them.

No, I decided to change all of it for several reasons. Although my trying to go incognito didn't really work, apparently you can see if someone has changed their name

a lot more humor here as there is on another forum I watch. you will get down voted to the pits of hell if you crack a joke that is not pc.
I have also noticed this. Not just on internet message boards like this, but everywhere here in the US.
Kinda sad really ... and I think it will get worse before it gets better.
I agree that there seems to be a decline in sense of humor. We need another "vaping makes my kidneys hurt" thread! 
And from my perspective, there is to much "in-fighting" within the vape community. And I will stop with that.

I don't want to steal or hijak this thread explaining what happened. But, I, for one, am staying. The information is too valuable and I enjoy the socialization aspect as none of my friends vape

Depends on who's sense of humor your dealing with. The sad part is that someone can delete a comment just because they feel like it and it does not break any rules.
I actually don't see that around here. I remember pretty regular 'wars' a few years ago about mech mods run at over 25 watts being so dangerous they were going to cause vapocalypse, VW being a marketing gimmick because the exact same thing could be done with VV only better, people who never smoked should not ever vape, the whole Provari thing, the cloud chasing thing, you get the idea.
It's been really tame around these parts lately. Kinda miss the old flame wars on a slow night, but I doubt the mods do

Also, i was on a thread chatting about tc last week.
It was the busiest thread ive been on since being here.
Tempers were raised and words were thrown,
That was mostly by me but ive managed to calm down now.
Or ive learnt to 'slow my roll' as you guys put it.
