wow, I barely remember the days of anything below at least 12W...

My usual is about 45W, 0.3 to 0.9ohm builds.

I also remember the days when a single battery mod would last a day, and not 2-3 hours.

I use this set up 75-85% ....now towards 90% of the time. Loaded with Unflavored 24 mg. Oh, and by the way, it is a single battery mod that lasts an easy full day, if not a day and a half. ;) My other mod I use a lot is mainly my MVP topped with a Kanger Emow tank with 1.8 ohm coil. I just started the evic mini with Subtank mini to see if it will work for me as quality control on the Kanger coils I have been noticing them slipping. Coils 2-3 out of a 5 pack are toast at the gate. Hey look at that, I made it to the end of the thread. :D

I have no care. You spend your money how you want to. It was a remark previously seen that because someone "has money" they can "afford" to buy $3 coils insinuating if you wrap your own it must make you poor :p i find it all amusing :D Wrap them, squish them, drop em in, punt them, flick em at the wall, melt em down, spend every cent you have on em, spend next to nothing on them, have them on a boat, or with a goat, or in a house with a mouse, it doesnt matter to me :D

Oh yeah lol. Literally ^that, followed with an atypical chilidish rebuttal. I started rebuilding because I wanted to learn something new, and improve my vaping experience. But hey! If someone wants to live in the drop in coil dark ages, not my problem. Sure, there are times where it's convenient...My issue is the closed mindedness. Try to help a new vaper learn about something they're interested in, and you're a boogeyman. I learned rebuilding on my own with the help of youtube...if I can help ONE PERSON with what I learned, I'll be happy.
I deem you both hobos. *drops in new coil*
Actually if I could find drop in coils with good flavor at a decent price I like the convenience. As it is I rewick Myjet pods and rebuild kayfuns.

I gave up on factory coils a while back, took power tools to them, split them apart and with the mighty hammer of Thor, started to rebuild them. :p

Vaperrasso cCell rebuilding

And never.... looked back....

Vaping is pretty boring these days.
Oh come on, it's not that bad. You liked the Rose v3 if I recall, besides SuperDave is gonna rise from the asheS and release the nearly-finished dual 26650 Shockwave on the grey market, payable only in bitcoin, with a 3.5 year long waiting list; ANY MINUTE NOW!!!!1!! It'll come with a factory supercharger that sub-ohms @ 0.001Ω using dual-helix ophion coils & improved e-liquid injection w/ quad-vortex airflow.

Or, you could just slap a KF mini v3 on a Precise & call it a day. Picture of Your Setup Part 2!

Been there, done that, everything is old and boring, somebody should invent something NeWER and BeTtER, right away, if not sooner, and entertain me faster.

Oh, no, wait... thicker gauge NiFe is upon us AND China has finally gotten around to making whacky clones of Dicodes modz! Both of those are gonna change the world.

In conclusion, I'm gonna go have another drink now because that's a good idea.

I have just recently started my Subtank mini with RBA section with a 1.63 ohm single coil 26 gauge, I believe 9 wraps on 2.5 mm screw driver running on the smallest setting for air draw to become more normal if making your own coils is your thing. They have 1.5 ohm prebuilt as well. I too need my MTL tanks but are becoming harder to find. I am thinking I will enjoy it more as time proceeds..... as well as keeping my vaping cost to the minimal....
It's my hubby I'm trying to set up with mtl/restricted lung type set up. He has a Toptank mini and even built at 1.5 with only a tiny airflow open it's still too much. He's a wimpy vaper, what can I say. Waiting on kayfun styled tanks to see if that helps. I just want to get him something that works so he wants to vape more than he wants to smoke. I'd really like to keep him around as long as possible and not lose him to smoking related disease, like we lost his mom and my dad.

Wrong. Comments are not deleted unless they do break a rule (to include trolling, being rude, blatant derailing, etc.). If we get reports about a post and the report is valid, chances are the post is going to get removed.

You misread or misunderstood my statement because it was referring to another nameless forum and not talking about ECF.

 Lol.
We need to change that slightly
Kayfuns rule
Kayfuns rule
Kayfuns rule
Ps. Griffins suck :pervy:
Edit; 20s, 22s, 25s, 27s + whatever number they're up to now...

I agree, but only because a Griffin is too airy for MTL vaping. I have two new Griffin 22's (in box) because I wanted to try a velocity deck. One came in with over-torqued deck screws. I stripped one screw while trying to remove them. The other was a replacement from the vendor that was fine, but I only vaped a handful of hits because of the inability to get a decent MTL vape out of it even with the air flow closed down. I'd trade both of them for a new Kayfun Mini V3. The decks are fine with the exception of one screw on one that won't come out even with a Wila 1,3mm hex tool. An "easy out" bit of the right size would fix it.

I guess it all depends on whether you are using the vape to stay off Cigarettes or to Drop the Hooka.

This is what I use and you can also get a 510 adapter for it. https://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger-Aerotank-Mini there are others similar if he wants more juice capacity like the Aero tank v2. My Dad was the same way. He wanted tighter draw but now as his mouth is healing from not drawing as much, he finds the v2 almost starting to be too restrictive even wide open. I suggest your husband starting on the tightest setting and working his was up to wide open as time progresses. I started with the v2 and still use it 2 years later. Hope this helps.

Oh and to note, my dad smoked for 60 years with a pack now lasting a few months without even trying to quit. His last pack he opened Jan. 18 still has 4 cigs in it as of yesterday when I talked to him.

Between those two, I'd just go with the Aerotank V2 right away, but note that with these small coils, never go over 10-12W with them, worst part with them is that they burn so incredibly easy.. the biggest pain with these is that they are bottom fed.
(weird.. the pictures of the "simple " is the one I have, white the regular one is different (airflow is a hole instead of the slot))

I would help out more but honestly I feel like a dinosaur now. I was totally in the cutting edge crew for years though. When the variable volt revolution took place. And the series of earth shattering PROTANKS came out. Then RTA's surged and I found nirvana with single coil kayfuns along with inexpensive 18650 VW mods. But I stopped there. I never needed to go further. I dabbled in sub ohm. Didn't like it. I dabbled in high airflow. Liked it even less.

It's funny. In our generation we wanted muscle cars that would create large, voluminous clouds of rubber smoke, especially if you poured a little bleach on the pavement. Today, it's a 4 banger that sounds like an overstuffed lawnmower, but the young people who drive them want a vape that makes clouds.

Things change. But it's still about, "Look at me! Watch this!"

Some folks can be social smokers, with an occasional cigarette. Me? No way, either nothing or a pack and a half.

My dad was never really trying to quit he just now started liking vaping a lot more than smoking and he's quitting naturally. His was more for convenience while they work on business trips in the hotels.

I use mine on top of the MVP that has a built-in 510 adapter works just fine. It is just like the v2 except it uses ego style thread.

And dang, I have such trouble with my dyslexia at times, I end up having to do so many "edit" to fix typos...

Funny story, I had someone "burn" me over the fact that I had edited a post several times (which I do right away when I see my typos and such, and NOT to change what I've actually said, or meant to say)... and he believed that he was "winning" something over that.

Don't know if anyone suffer from it, but holy mother of dagnabit at times, to go and type something, and the fingers end up writing something else... it can be very frustrating at time.

Reminds me of the days when my English teacher would use a red pencil to write SP next to any word I miss-spelled. It taught me to be more careful and quit losing 1/2 point off my papers for each one.

BTW, I do the same thing with my posts.
