I'm just using an eGo with a smok Aro Mini 2 topper and it looks like a pen to me. No self consciousness here.
Now .... if I was using one of those that looks like it belongs in my bedside drawer I'd probably still be smoking. Just sayin'.

I don't see it as vanity, rather the opposite in fact.
If I see an up-standing (looking) person vaping, I think that it must be a smart idea. Call me what you will, but that is the way I see it.
With the same thought, if I see a successful person vaping...
At least at first impression, anyway.
I think vaping advertisers should use penguins, they were tuxedos.

You're not the only one. It's much better than going outside to smoke, though. That also made me self-conscious, and (realistically) that probably looked worse to others.
Well, since I am a golden oldie, and grandmother to many, I think it makes me look cool. Instead of stupid for smoking.

I get weird looks when I'm out and bout with my mvp, but every so often I get a thumbs up from a fellow vaper. the looks from the cars next to me at red lights are priceless LOL
When I first started vaping I felt a tad self conscious but now I'm proud to have quit smoking and a few other friends have followed my lead and stopped too!
I'm sure at some point I'll get tired of having to charge my eGo all the time and will need to get over myself. But I assure you I will be looking for the smallest one I that holds a charge I can find.

I'm not at all self - conscious about vaping anywhere any longer. In places that call for it, I'm the soul of discretion, but I happily vape away anywhere and everywhere now.

cigarettes, although worse for you, are in fact main stream........
sooner or later, and God willing, vaping will be main stream as well,

i smoke mine everywhere im proud of it as you should be
the only thing i hate is those numbskulls that walk up and ask "is that [MODERATED]" yea [MODERATED] i roam around the streets smoking [MODERATED] but other than that I absolutly love the attention it gets. PLUS when someone is intrigued with it and I spend time talking to them about it i feel I've done my part of planting 'the Seed' in there head to try n quit by vaping

Embarrassed, no never. I'm proud of the fact that I can vape in the car, without having to crack a window in the middle of winter.
The bigger the mod the better. If it doesn't stand out cos it's a small device, I'll get a bright red drip tip for it. Just need to find a tip now that has flashing lights and plays music

The way I look at it, It doesn't make me stink and if I'm around other people I don't have to worry about listening to the over exaggerated coughs that non smokers like to give when someone is smoking 20 feet away from them. I made a good choice to quit smoking and I enjoy it. Who cares if someone thinks you look goofy, it's not affecting them.

Iv had someone call the police on me before when using my ecigs in my car saying I was doing drugs or something lol, the cop quickly seen that was just ecig and told the other person to look closer before wasting there time( in a nicer way though lol)
