Am I the only one that feels a bit odd puffing away on these things. Vanity sucks. Hahaha

Sure it's a little odd with all of the demonization being put out by media/gov't about vapor devices. Glasses for peoples eyes were probably odd when they were first invented and used > but they have beneficial effects. What I'm trying to say is, people will eventually adapt to the use of e-cigs.

To be honest I haven't taken one in .... yet. Next time I go I'll let you know.

I noticed they were taking them off people today. Good day for you lads and we nearly did you a favour but John Terry and the ref saw to that.
Disgusted at Chelsea fans during the minutes silence. Did you hear about it?

I make it a point to make sure people see me vaping, I was actually getting self conscience about smoking...

I'm with you. With all the smoking bans it has become socially unacceptable to smoke in public. As for vaping... I have no problems with people seeing me sucking away on my MPV. The more people see it and realize what it is, the faster it'll become mainstream

Dear OP, it is a personal choice. if you feel uncomfortable vaping in certain places then do not.

Did you feel that way about smoking?

Personally, I vape where ever I want as long as it is not a place where it could offend others.
I did not smoke in my car but I do vape in there. My windows are so tinted that I doubt anyone could tell anyways. But I do not care if they did see me vaping. I am not inclined to care what others think of me :)

It's been an emotional roller-coaster today!
Yea, I heard they chanted throughout the minutes silence ... classless muppets.

Well, you are a guy, judging from your name :)
For the lady, there is the most beautiful vaping gear, to match my clothes, my jewelry, just gorgeous!
I make a point of choosing the matching vaping gear when going out. Like a wonderful fashion accessory :) And yes, I have received a lot of compliments as well :)

I have no idea what vaping gear you are using. But there are some lovely vaping things for the guys as well. Wooden mods, even pipes. They look so classy! Like this one: http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/images/mods/reo-woodvil.jpg

If you enjoy nice things, you have most certainly picked the correct hobby with vaping :)

Oh, and as to worrying how one looks: motorcycle helmets tend to mess up your hair. They may save your life though :)

I've never been concerned with what someone thinks of me when they see it. A) I'm not worried about offending someone, as I generally only vape where it'd be OK for someone to smoke, e.g. outdoors, in a bar that allows smoking (yes, we still have those in FL), etc. B) As far as someone thinking it's weird, I'd imagine the more the general public sees vaping, and sees vaping done responsibly and respectfully, the more it will become generally accepted. Plus, I love talking about it, and how it helped me quit smoking. I'm a walking advertisement for these things, and I'm proud to share what I've learned with those who inquire.

The alternative is to not vape in front of anyone so I choose vape and even welcome comments and questions from others that I might help to make the switch to vaping. I think this is the best way to spread vaping and educate the public. Guess what I'm really trying to say is vape trumps vanity anyday for me. Welcome to the forum, I am so glad you are here. :)

That's one of the advantages of being olderthandirt, vanity went by the wayside a long time back.

I rarely give a thought to what others think of me about anything. Vaping? Could care less what others think (-;
