Self conscious vaping in my car and public.

Yeah I talked to a few of my LEO buddies and apparently it is becoming very popular in our metro area. A large portion of the PD that smokes use vapes at work due to not being able to smoke in the squad car. 4 days and no smoking!

Embarrassed, no never. I'm proud of the fact that I can vape in the car, without having to crack a window in the middle of winter.

The bigger the mod the better. If it doesn't stand out cos it's a small device, I'll get a bright red drip tip for it. Just need to find a tip now that has flashing lights and plays music

Seriously though, be proud of your vaping. Vape loud and vape proud

While many people are in positions in life where it doesn't matter what others think of them, others are in positions where professional credibility IS an issue. Vaping could be an issue to some, but with education, more and more people can come to the realization that it is a much better option than smoking. The ban here on drug talk is SO important.

When I pass by the smoking huts at the VA, and smell them, I just shake my head-- so sad. Obsessing about vaping is much better than living for my next cig.

get a stealth mod like the micro stick ... people will think your doing magic tricks ... or use a provari with a kayfun and let em think whatever they want... they should be watchin the road not what your up to..

To be honest my biggest worry was getting stopped by the boys in blue. I prefer to deal with badges as friends. The lack of drug talk is why I joined this forum instead of one of the many others. I appreciate being able to share the forum with friends and family.

My wife and I spent this last Saturday at Universal in Orlando. It was our first trip back since we had stopped smoking and started vaping. We vaped all day, anywhere except in lines. I was a bit self conscious at first but no one bothered us. In fact it was nice not having to find the hidden away smoking spots. We even noticed a few other vapers.

I had a car next to me full of kids looking at me with horrified eyes... Best I can figure is the mom driving thought I was..... I guess the mom is vape ignorant. All I could do was vape on my russian, blow a cloud, then smile and wave.

I never worry about how I look but sometimes indoors I get self conscious about the people staring. Sometimes they don't realize it's vapor and think you are smoking.

I've noticed that I feel odd vaping on my e-cig when at a restaurant. I try my best to go to the waiting area or outside. Its not that i can't vape in there, it just that some ppl may take it the wrong way.

I'm just using an eGo with a Smok Aro Mini 2 topper and it looks like a pen to me. No self consciousness here.

Now .... if I was using one of those that looks like it belongs in my bedside drawer I'd probably still be smoking. Just sayin'.

Lol miss boo. That is precisely why I stick to box style mods. In all serious though , driving home from work at 3 in the morning, I'm still waiting to be pulled over for cop thinking I'm smoking something illegal.

I was self conscious for about five minutes, when I realized I look like homemade sin in mismatched clothing with or without the ecig.

Now, when I catch people looking, I get wide-eyed and start to point at them sexy while I'm toking. Make them feel like they just stepped into an R&B video, all sexy like and stuff.

I never felt self-conscious, but I tend to play nice and go outside when in a store or restaurant, etc. In the car...*shrug* I'm not worried about police interaction, if they pull me over we'll have a fun time (I know a couple of very good, VERY aggressive lawyers with a pronounced liberatarian bent). It's actually started a couple of fun conversations, since I don't evangelize or approach smokers when I see them. When asked, however, I'm more than happy to discuss the setup, what flavor I'm vaping, and so on.

I get strange looks from people in cars next to me when I am vaping in the car...like I am smoking...insert illegal smokeable here....but I don't care. I am proud to be smoke free. I had one of the guys that work in the other hangar ask me about it today...it was a great conversation piece. I do, however, limit my vaping in restaurants and such...just to be polite.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the looks I get when I blow a massive cloud out my sun roof at red lights! I stopped caring about what people thought about a week after I started. Now I converted about 10 people at work, where we are now the majority outside at the smoking section.

on a side note my friend got pulled over while she was vaping.. cop simply asked her what it was, and then spent another 10 min discussing the benefits and took a card from local vape shop from her. I think he is a smoker and looking to switch over too lol..

I don't think I've ever been self conscious about vaping in public. If anything I quite enjoy it. I get to spread the word about vaping to smokers and the uninformed masses! Lol
I quite enjoy blowing big ole clouds out, it seems to catch the attention of smokers, then the preaching begins... I'm like a vaping missionary haha
