Hey guys, been vaping for about a month so far. Buddy of mine lent me his 510 with a bit of juice to vape. It was hitting alright for a while but now I go blue in the face trying to get anything. I figured it was time for a new setup so I came here for some advice. I'm looking for something under 100$ USD that produces copious amounts of vapor with decent throat hit. Long battery life would be nice since I'm vaping all day at work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Cheng S.

If size doesn't matter, you could try this: $51.42 Vamo-Vivi Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Then you could choose some vivi nova's, or dct's or pro tanks and some juice. The Vamo is a VV/VW so you can adjust it to your sweet spot. Fasttech is a go to for many and they have great service. Using coupon code cpaste13spring gives you an additional 5% off.

There are so many different options though and I'm sure you'll get some really great recommendations for other stuff as well.

Hey there, and congrats on the vaping switch!

I see the desire to "move up" as a totally good thing. Anything that gets you off the stinkies is a good thing!

Strictly sticking to your budget, you can go with:
Sigelei Stainless V3 ZMAX Telescope Variable Power (adjustable wattage) VV APV

Suitable(damn near identical) solutions include the VAMO or any other Sigelei "MAX" type device. Don't forget to pick up a couple batteries and a charger from the same site. Recommended as the safest/best batteries are AW IMR(18650 size for mods mentioned in this post), but you can get EFEST IMR 18650 batteries if you want to save a couple bucks and maybe trade out a minute amount of performance/battery life. Trustfire chargers are pretty much a good standard buy for a charger, and are economical to boot. Estimated cost with this setup is around $90-105, depending.

NOTE: I provided a link to an online store that I prefer to do business from. If you prefer to hunt for the best price on your own, a search for the Sigelei Z-Max or VAMO would be just as good. The devices are essentially the same except for aesthetics, so feel free to shop around.

Now, vapor production and throat hit are pretty largely dependent on a couple components of your juice that you're vaping. For more vapor, go for more VG in your liquids, but be warned that it may must flavor and taste sweet. That might not be something you're looking for in all your e-liquids.

For more throat hit, try liquids with a higher PG blend. This will also enhance flavor delivery to a point. For a solid balance, I use either 50/50 PG/VG or 60/40 PG/VG liquids. Keep in mind that high nicotine levels in juice (20mg and higher) will produce much more throat hit, but may induce a "peppery" taste to your e-liquids.

Best of luck finding something, and feel free to send me a PM if you require a little more help!

Your getting a harder draw because your atomizer clogged up. You can get a superior draw, hit and taste with a good atomizer that is low resistance. You can also clean the one that you have by putting it in alcohol for about 15 minutes then washing with water and blowing it out. Be sure to let it dry overnight. You can extend the life of a good atomizer like this.
I have gone full circle from 450 egos to 650 all the way up to 1300's, several of the battery replacement (rechargable) mods, to an i taste MVP 2600 mah variable voltage. I have gone back to my 650 ego type batteries and a low resistance atomizer 306 model from myvaporstore. They hit harder and taste better and last longer than anything I have ever used. I have tried out alot of stuff including everything that fASTTECH sells. They do have one tall cartomizer that is ok around two bucks, but not as good as the one mentioned above for 5.50

Buy two batteries and a charger and a handfull of these great atomizers. hey will last you about a month each. Joytech brand will last a week or so'

My two cents

Anyone know where the Vamo is made? I cant find their website..

Made in China, like 90% of everything related to vaping. You can get for less at Fasttek (and nothing wrong with that) but the free shipping does take longer. I got mine here and got it in 3 days and still a very reasonable price:

VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2

I would suggest getting Efest or AW batteries. CCV has the Efests for $11 and FREE shipping.
