First of hello everyone and thanks to everybody that will help me with my selections!

3 weeks ago I bought from vapoursolutions an ego CE4 with 2 extra clearomizers and 5 flavors! I do like it, but I feel like I could get something better an more enjoyable! I've been looking around and now I need your guys help to make a selection!

Should I get a VV one?
What is better, clearomizers or cartomizers? Also what is dual coil for?
Could you suggest me a great setup with a budget of 200$ around?

Eager to see your answers :)

I would wait just a month or so because there are going to be some updated PV's coming out that I would recommend.

For example:

iTaste VV V3.0 Express Kit - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

A set of these might be a nice start for you...add some mini protanks...just about to release too...

If you want to jump up a bit these are all good deals:

So the iTaste from innokin seems like a solid pick and I should go with protanks? May I know why protanks are better?

I would say construction and durability, ease of use, and I like the look of it on just about everything I have. Evod coils work it in, I can rewick my coils (without disturbing them) with cotton and give the coils more life (saves money and taste is cleaner with cotton)

Glass, so I can put anything in this (including Pluid) and no worries about hazing or cracking...

Variable voltage (VV) and variable wattage (VW) allows you to set the temperature of your vape. If it is too cool you won’t get vapor. If it is too hot your juice will taste burnt. Anything in between is a matter of personal preference.

Variable voltage is “dumb”. It doesn’t pay attention to the oHms of the juice delivery device you are using. You need to start low, vape and turn up the voltage to get the vape you prefer. If you switch juice delivery devices to something with different oHms you will need to adjust the voltage settings.

VW is “smart” in that it recognizes the ohms of the juice delivery device. For example, if you set 8 watts for a 1.8 ohm juice delivery device your PV will deliver the same temperature vape if you switch to a 2.4, 2.8 or 3.0 oHm juice delivery device.

I would suggest that you get a VAMO that has VV and VW. It is cheap, reliable and has enough power for nearly all but a very few people who prefer super high power vaping. Use the VW setting to start with and experiment with VV if you want to learn how to match oHms with voltage to get the vape you like.

You have to wait for shipping from Hong Kong but Fast Tech has VAMO kits with an excellent charger and batteries for a very good price, Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries.

I would highly recommend that before you spend much money on juice delivery devices that you try dripping. Dripping isn’t at all convenient but it is the gold standard by which to judge other juice delivery devices. I have a large pile of juice delivery devices, including RDAs and RBAs. For my preferences, they all fall considerably shy of the quality of taste and performance that dripping delivers.

I’ve found the HH.357 atty delivers best taste/performance of the atties I’ve tried. I also have found it to be the easiest to keep correctly saturated. They are expensive but Hanna will rehab them for a $5 shipping fee.

Avid got a bad shipment of materials so the only HH.357s currently available are the customs. Get the standard resistance 2.5 oHm to start as that will allow you to explore the widest range of power settings, Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer.

You will have money left over and after using the VAMO/HH.357 combination as a tutorial you will have a good foundation on which to judge how to spend the balance. It seems I’m a very picky vapor so I went for the dripping performance in a tank with Avid’s expensive AMP Tanks. However, tons of people are thrilled with their top or bottom coil clearo tanks, others are fans of carto tanks while some love their rebuildables. You are the only one that can decide what floats your vaping juice delivery boat.

You could also decide that a mechanical PV rings your chimes or a VV only device. You also might find that you are in the minority that wants VW but more power so a DNA 20 mod might be your cup of tea.

^^^I thought I was being respectful by using quotes.;) That said, VV was most welcome when I started vaping but now I find it akin to a high maintenance boyfriend who has grown increasingly annoying. I’m happiest as a lazy vaper and would pay good money to avoid stratospheric watt vapes so it’s VW all the way for me.

Hi Frenkz,
Clearomizers and cartomizers are both good for me.
These Vision Vivi mini's I have been using since last fall and like a lot.

Get yourself a evod's, a protank and maybe a t3 maybe a vivi nova - too see what delivery devices you like

You can start with a twist to see if you like vv.

With $200.00. It is sure easy to say, just get a provari--

Hello everybody and thanks for all the answers, I've been looking for a canadian retailer that sells the models that you guys listed above and I had hard times =/ I'd like to get a provari from a canadian retailer but couldn't find a single one yet (The reason is that if it comes from usa or hong kong, it might never get delivered..)

Can anybody help me? for the moment I found this and I'm wondering if it is a good pick, if yes what else do I need with it? https://www.canvape.com/innokin-itaste-SVD-p/svd.htm

If someone from Canada doesn't chime in to help you might want to try asking for help in the ECF Canada forum. Now that you have five posts you can post there.

I know I have seen people from Canada mention that they have Provaris as well as having ordered from Fast Tech but I don't know if they are chancing delivery or if importing hardware is OK. I know there can be issues with importing nicotine juices.

I kinda agree with Kerry. I would not recommend a Provari as a first APV, though they are top of the line. There's some very good next step options. Usually we all just recommend "Get a Vamo. Get a Vamo" for an APV, or for a new comer get the excellent MVS kit:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

But the new iTaste 3.0 is kinda the form factor of the ego stick battery with the variable wattage and variable voltage, Ohm reader, etc. of a Vamo, built in. A couple of those, and you'll never need an ego battery.

$39.54 iTaste VW V3.0 7-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - vv-3.0 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

For a entry level + APV, I would go with something like the Sigelei V3 telescoping mod. Very flexible, very nice. If you do two iTastes and a Sigelei you still have money left for juice, chargers, batteries, case, toppers, etc.

Add some evods, MT3s's, a Protank, vivi nova's and some juice, and you're ready to go. It's all completely subjective. It does take time to figure out what you like, and there is no right or wrong. There's only experience, evolution, and vaping. Anyway, that would be my dream kit, and it still is, I just had to buy about 20 other pieces of gear before I got there. You can do it for less than $200 and have it now, or something similar. So, that being said, welcome to the Forum, Good Luck, happy vaping, Power Up and Vape On!

OK I have no idea how to even ask my questions. My wife and I have tried 2 different off the shelf e ciggs. The Clearette (which neither of us liked) And the Logic power and platinum which was far better but still not up to what we hoped for. My cigg of choice was Newport and hers was Maverick. I would like to know the easiest and least expensive way to replace these. I read a couple of posts but even the terms used are "above my pay grade" it seems! We are TRUE newbies!
We will not give up on vaping as smoking is to dangerous at this time in our lives (we are both just over 50) and far to expensive given our financial situation. (Almost $40/day in Long Island! that's close to $1200/ month!!!) forgive me but at this rate crak or heron might be cheaper ! One more thing, we don't mind at this point something that's a little different than ciggs in color and appearance but would rather something that's at least cylindrical and cigarette-like.
Any guidance would be appreciated PLEASE HELP. Thanks in advance.
Russ
