Hello all,

I have been vaping for quite a while now thoroughly enjoying VW mode on every mod and tank I have come to own. I decided that I want to try TC mode out because I hear that it is really good for flavor. So I want to ask more experienced members of the vaping community how I should set up for the first time, Specifically how to lock in the resistance at room temp. I am using a Uwell Crown with .15 ohm NI200 coils and GX350 mod. I've spent the last hour researching TC mode, in general, trying to figure out specifically how to find the room temp resistance for these coils and how to set it in my mod before I begin vaping. I couldn't find what I needed and was slowly becoming frustrated so I thought that it might be better to just ask. From what I have read so far this is a critical step in the setup process for TC vaping. I've done all the other usual steps up to this point. Thank you in advance.

Just set the right TC profile (SS316, Ni, Ti) before you put the tank n the mod.
Hit the fire button a couple of times. That will make sure it knows a new coil/tank is coming.
Screw the tank onto the mod.
Hit the fire button.
You should see "New Coil Y/N" or something similar.
Choose Y

Now it's been read and set and you are ready to vape.

Just a side note, I use the crown tank also but I use the .5 coils which are SS. They work fine in tc mode too. There has been a lot of debate on this but it works for me. I use a tcr of 105-110 and sometimes just use the ss tc mode which works too. As far as locking resistance, I don't do that, I just put it in temperature mode, set my wattage and temp, and vape away.
