I run 16mg in my STM with the RBA installed no problem with a 1.3-1.8 ohm 28 awg 2.3mm ID coil between 9-14W.
I agree that the prebuilt coils are harsh.

I would not buy batteries from them.
Illumn supply is my go to shop.

I buy batteries from them all the time but I'm not sure I'd pick the Smok Cube from them or anyone else.
For power get a Sigelei. Maybe a 150w with TC.
I like my stm but suck at the rba building. I run the occ at 40w tho. 25 is tootle puffing. I gotta have it at least 30If you want a cool vape and juice to last, I'd suggest a Subtank Mini. It only needs like 25 watts at most, even for low resistance builds. It's super versitile, never leaks, and comes with an RBA deck that's real easy to learn to build on. A 30w device is plenty for a subtank mini, but an istick 50w or even 100w is cheap enough. Don't spend hundreds on your first setup, in case you grow bored with it. You can get a decent setup for $50. Someone suggested the TFV4, it is a performing tank but it's also a massive tank. Most mods are designed for 22mm tanks and the TFV4 is 24mm. Just something to think about, I wouldn't like overhang from my tank on my mod.
I've recently realized running 18mg on stm is suicide. At least if you are vaping over 30w. Just my two centsKanger Subtank mini, eVic VTC mini, 2 Samsung 25R, some Koh Gen Do cotton, 28 and 26 awg kanthal A1 resistance wire, eliquid of your choice at least one bottle at 18mg/mL.
I think you did good
There's plenty there for a first time setup!
The only thing I think you are missing is the juice and some spare OCC coils.
Later you may well want supplies to get into making your own coils. You may even decide to get a more expensive and refined mod, but for now I'd say you are good to go!
Have fun with it![]()

Edit: I run my stm at 12mg but don't even recommend it. I'm gonna have to suffer through the 12mg samples I bought recently. Funny how it was fine dripping it. I would recommend maybe 6 to 9mg in stm. That's what I will step down to soon

There are different opinions on this depending on if someone is a volume vaper (clouds bro) or vaping for nicotine intake. I'm a nic vaper so my suggestion for light would be 12mg and for Red 18mg. If the 18 mg is too strong you can always dilute it to a lower strength.Any ideas what nicotine level should i run for softest setup, "lights" and "reds"? (like normal cigarettes are set to soft, lights, heavy reds)
Thanks,

I respectfully disagree. I wouldn't run 24 in anything more advanced than a protank. Could run up to 36. 18 in the nautilus. And 12 in sub ohm tank premades. I would redo this to say in sub ohm tanks or anything that 18 is high. 12 is medium. 6 is low. And 3 is super low (probably good for cloud chasing. As always ymmv and wattage is a huge factor. Pg and vg also affect it. Like most people I'm starting to like higher vg and lower nic in these new tanks. I still run 50 50 and 12 but I'm probably gonna order like 9mg and 70 vg next time. Stepping down does take time as you vape. Some people just continue to step down and that's me included but vaping style does affect this. Would pg vg ratio is that 16mg you are using. I was vaping that before but scrrwed up the ratio cuz I didn't realize my flavorings are pg based. Still figuring out diyI find it amusing that so many people don't know how to run medium strength eliquid through a tank.
With the right build on the RBA deck you can put anything in there and get a good vape.
My all day vape (ADV) is 16.6mg/mL and it is kinda weak in the STM because of the open airflow.
Btw:
High strength 36-48mg/mL
Medium 18-24mg/mL
Low 6-12mg-mL
Very low 3mg/mL
My 16.3mg/mL is a 66/33 or 2/3 PG, 1/3 VGI respectfully disagree. I wouldn't run 24 in anything more advanced than a protank. Could run up to 36. 18 in the nautilus. And 12 in sub ohm tank premades. So what would be an example of the latter? It seems like everything is made for that high vg nowadays. I heard on some of the subohm tanks if your juice is too thin it will just flood lol. And like I said I'm moving towards high vg and low nic. Its what my vape shop sells and my equipment is good at. I feel like a sheep following the herd. But I'm OK with the big clouds and if it keeps me from smoking. All the betterMy 16.3mg/mL is a 66/33 or 2/3 PG, 1/3 VG
The 24mg/mL I use is a 60/40
The premade coils made for vaporizing large amounts of VG are harsh with anything other than low nic high VG liquid.
Likewise premade coils made for nicotine delivery don't do well with thick liquids.
Different tools different jobs.
