    Oh yeah...

Hold the mod in one hand upside down hold a flat blade screwdriver in the other hand point down. put the blade in the groove where the o-ring was, it will be at a pretty good angle hold it tight. Now the most important part get someone you trust. Have them hammer the end of the screw driver. A few taps each side 180 out and she pops right off.

Thanks for the tip. I hope this works also for the Seven-22 so I can upgrade it in the future. But I don't quite get what o-ring you mean? Does the seven-30 have a rubber o ring? I really don't quite get where to put a screwdriver to. There seems to be a very thin sheet of metal ring on the top. Maybe it's just different on a Seven-22...

I really love form factor of the Seven-22 (like the closed form better than the open slits)

Post a close up of the top of your mod. It may be different than ours, when I get home from dinner I'll post one of mine showing it.

I go through about 20mL a day minimum, so don't feel too bad.

Hahaha...I think I could do that too. Messing with the mech and a dripper seems to cut it down so I don't keep draining the big buddha's tank, heh.

I can only imagine the battery drainage if I was using 18650s...

I actually don't know how much liquid I use a day because I rotate this guys and then some:

And now I added this gut to the bunch: 19 Ml Wolverine (Russian 91% Mega Clone)

    What's next?

How is the Wolverine (31mm!)? Design looks interesting....you like it more than the Big Buddha (capacity aside)?

The 31mm Wolverine's stock Airflow design didn't work well for me. I tried to build and re-build it "seven ways to Sunday" wasting half of spool of 26 Gauge and tons of Rayon wicks. The Vapor production was not that great and the flavor was a little muted, and the throat hit was a little too much. Like when you put your Dripper top cap and don't align airholes with your coils. So, I knew that I'm having an Airflow problem.
Then I gave up trying to make their Airflow design to work and made my own Airflow holes, much like it is made in a Fogger and Aqua.
So I drilled two new Airholes (one on each side) and sealed the old ones:

It made a World of difference! I've got a full flavor now and clouds of vapor much like I get from Big Buddha or Big Fogger.
I have it setup with 0.45 Ohms of 26 Gauge Kanthal and Rayon:

The advantages over Big Buddha that I see are:

    1. Top tool-less filling.
    2. Protective Stainless Steel sleeve around the Glass tank.
    3. Almost twice the liquid capacity.

    Disadvantages:

    1. Bad Airflow design (IMHO)
    2. Press Fit (to SS Center Pin) Brass Positive Terminal rather than Threaded.
    3. It is so dam huge and heavy!

But, after drilling my own Airflow holes, I'm very satisfied with it. I'm going to make me a new Stainless Steel Positive Terminal that threads onto the Center Pin.

It looks perfect on my 26650 King Mod. Everything matches: The size, the color and the finish texture:

And, like I said: It is huge:

    Seven-30 with top cap.

Seven-30 without top cap. Note the O-ring that holds the top cap on.

Seven-30 without the O-ring. That's where you wedge the screwdriver to remove the top.

    Good luck.

    So they say...

Do you Vape at that power?

Me? I Vape at 40 - 50 Watts the most and that is only 11 - 13 Amps, so I would go for the most longevity translated in mAH

I was able to flip the bottom battery plug over and get a couple threads. No rattles and works great but the bottom battery post sticks out. Would prefer a screw in cap if I can find one. If I cant I'll make a washer to epoxy on the bottom so it's flush with the battery post.

I took a grinder to mine, left about 3 mm. It screws on fine without having to flip it. If you haven't come up with something else yet, you could try that. Heads up though, grinding it makes a mess of metal powder. Clean it off afterwards or your threads may bind up.

Yeah I posted a kidney puncher review on most of those...I still think the MNKEs (both variants) are the best bet overall (price is also a factor here), but some higher mah, lower amp versions should be better for VW devices.

My stock Seven30 is still working just fine after more than a month of constant chain vaping, but I vape at 15-18 watts on a 1.0-1.3 ohm coil......wonder if mine will stand the test of time?

I'm going on 3 weeks of chain vaping @.8 ohm/30 watts. I hope mine holds up too.
