Little update on my Wolverine modification:

I decided to modify that Press Fit Brass Center Pin with Threaded Stainless Steel one:
I made it a little bigger than the original so it actually holds that Ceramic Cup down and seals the unwanted Airflow with an O-Ring. I lowered the wire hole too.

It's a copper Mutant mod clone with a 30mm Tobh clone sitting on top...been lovin' it! :toast:
I may have to get me a setup like that. Although as far as mechs go, I'm thinking of building a Bap box like Kevinn did, but instead of a fire button, a 3 way rocker switch. Up for SX350, and down for semi-mech. Only problem is I'm a little scared of wiring one of those batteries directly to an atomizer. Might have to find a way to limit the power a bit.

I've got a .4 quad 28g parallel coil in my Helios right now. I wanna put another one in there and take it down to .2, but the one burns through so much juice I don't think there's room for enough wick to handle two coils. Anyone know of any 30mm drippers with a Helios style center post? I've kinda fallen in love with it.

As long as you have the tails just touching the bottom of the well, it should wick fine...but that won't help the juice eating problem. :p

Take a look at the asMODus 30mm (or clone)...the posts seem to look similar to your Helios. I'm thinking of picking it up at some point as well...
Wow, that's gorgeous. I love the gear top design. I was thinking about picking up a Plume Veil clone next payday, I think I'll get one of these as well. I've been meaning to branch out from my one dripper anyway. I might get a TOBH too, although I don't care for the 3 wire hole design.

The Tobh is cheap enough to keep in your stable...so I say go for it. The asMODus is next on my list...after my 29.6mm Veritas comes in anyway. :2cool:

I'll probbaly end up ordering the asMODus whenever 101vape gets their SS/Brass Mutant clones back in...$22.99 is a great price! I shoulda ordered that one last weekend while it was in stock. Ah well, I guess I'll settle for my copper version for now...

Anyone else notice that when the battery runs low it says "check atty" ?

I swear mine said "check batt" last night, but I'll try to remember better what it says this time.

Edit: Finally ran her down tonight. Mine says "Low Bat!" when getting dead and if I insist on trying to fire, it reads "CHECK BATTERY".

I've been told that my Seven-30 is bound to burn if I continue to run it with 0.5 Ohm load...

Introducing a high Ohm build on Big Buddha. This is 1.2 Ohm dual coil (2.4 Ohm each coil) made out of 0.6mm x 0.1mm Flat Ribbon Kanthal with non resistant leads welded to each side of it. NR-R-NR. At 1.2 Ohms even Provari doesn't mind firing it. I think it is bull sh...t, but it works pretty good at 30 Watts 6 Volts.

Well...a couple users here have blown 'em using lowish builds. I'm gonna stick to .8-.7 ohm myself....plenty satisfying for me. If I want a warmer, more open draw, I just hit the Mutant! ;)

Weird that the provari ain't firing it...1.2 ohm shouldn't be a problem (though the buddha DWARFS it! ) Do you like it it better at 1.2 on the Seven 30 or do you prefer sub-ohm?

I've been running 0.75 ohms, that two 1.5 ohm coils. Works out nice. But I wish there was a clear definition of what is OK.
