What are you at a Council Bluffs Nudie bar and didn't invite us?

Naw...just the wife. The flat top makes a great place to set the natty, and nippled....well, you know...nippled.
That's my reward for 30 hours of OT this pay period.

My wife was questioning me about a paypal transaction...lol...I just told her to be quite and quit shaking her head...don't want the natty spilled.

Pitt...did you say you have some Panasonic bats? 18650? Which one?
I'm thinking I should throw one or 2 in the arsenal prior to the ra arrival just to have a girly 3.7 option in case 6 volt takes a bit to figure out.
I'm seeing like 3 different ones, and at least 1 says it won't fit a provari. I think I'm also seeing flat top and nippled.
Haven't dug into it yet....just wondering.

Hang on..when I get to my laptop, Ill post a couple links to the batteries

Alright, Hawk, here they are: Panisonic CGR18650CH batteries in all of their AW slaying glory.. CGR18650CH Panasonic 18650 Li-Mn-Li-ion CGR18650CH High Drain 10A Rechargeable IMR Hybrid Battery Cell. They are usually cheaper than the $9.99 tag right now, but you just have to wait for a deal. Last month they had them at $7.99, or so, a bat. Here is the same ones at 310 Vapers, but you just have to sit on them until they come into stock: CGR18650CH Panasonic 18650 Li-Mn-Li-ion CGR18650CH High Drain 10A Rechargeable IMR Hybrid Battery Cell

If you happen to find them elsewhere, just remember that they need to be the flat-top batteries to fit in a LT and Provari. Haven't heard about them not fitting in any standard 18650 device..however, with your SB, you may need nipple top..and maybe not high-drain.. In that case: New! Panasonic CGR18650CH With Top Button, 2250mAh IMR High Drain 18650 Battery Cell-Made in Japan. Same battery, just with the raised positive terminal. Here is another non-high drain battery with a higher mah and the raised terminal: PANASONIC 18650 PROTECTED NCR18650A 3100mAh FREE Shipping from Florida-USA. 18650 cell-Made in Japan, Protection IC's-Made in Japan

For the SB it will be either of the last ones there. Couldn't tell you for sure if it would accept a flat-top or not. I do know, though, that my Bolt takes flat top, high-drain batteries and works well, even at the 3.7v. To my knowledge, the Bolt and the SB are mostly similar as far as that goes. The Bolt is, basically, a SB knock-off.

Oooh, what should we say? We have to do something, we do it to you quite a bit..

More than "quite a bit"...
I had a couple aw imr 18650 button tops. I'm sure the button topped ones are the way to go.
Need to hit the modders forum and find out about setting up the phoenix for 6 volts. Think it may require 34 gauge wire but not sure. In theory...the longer the wire(more coils) the higher the resistance? Or do I have that bass akward?

Well it will be roughly 2 inches of wire and 5 loops to get around that 2.6-3ohm mark with 32awg. That's just off the top of my head. Yes, the longer of resisted wire will yield more resistance..

Dang your have every opportunity to dog on me and you didn't.

Pitt, does your bolt handle 6v? I have read some thing that the bolt has fine wire in the switch assembly and supposidly can't handle high voltage. Or at least the people that have been "kicking" the bolt have been tearing them apart and rewiring them.

You're just that good of a guy! Err, or that bad of one.. Anywho! I didn't know for sure if my Bolt would handle it, but so far, so good! When I get another (capable of handling higher voltages) mod, I plan on rewiring it. But so far, even pushing DCCs (which I never do) and 2ish ohm cartos, it has been a treat. Typically run a 3 ohm on it, cause I have 8 tanks with 3 ohm cartos that I typically rotate. Can't say for sure how the switch and wiring will hold up after, say about, a couple of months.. But until then, I will beat the crap out of it!
